Bill, I have watched this site grow with Jean from the beginning. I want to say how nice of you to start Birds of a Feather. Greg set it up and promoted it as a professional. You and your admins,mods and members have super job at making it a informative and enjoyable site to visit. THANK YOU! Not being a computer man, it takes a great site to get me interested. :goodjob:

Of course i would have to agree with everyones comments about BoF,,,
When i found out TRT(The Reef Tank) was starting a sister board about birds, i figured i should check it out,cuz if it was TRT-like , it had to be good,,;)

As i checked out the board, still in it's infancy,and since i found out Shirley and of course Greg were involved,and i knew both from TRT, I emailed Shirley,and teased her about keeping this hush ,hush from even me! think i had emailed/pm'ed her a bunch of times, just b4 this, and she kept it undercover,,,,
(Congrats Shirley!:thumbup: )
And i asked her if I could be of any help concerning the board to let me know,,,,some of you might not know that i am a "super-moderator" at TRT,and told myself that i would not spread myself thin with any more boards,other than cruising my local salt water reefing club board,,,,
But i knew that BoF was to be a special place to be involved with,,,and Shirley responded(surprised me) by asking if i would like to be a mod here at BoF(not in the lines of the help i thought i could give)But i think it was due to the fact i was already familar with the way TRT is run/operated. After getting the invite, i thought ,sure why not, TRT and Bof would be a great place to be ,and help out,,,and i found out i was right , and the "extra" work is more enjoyable than what would be called work, because everyone here is so friendly,and easy to be out here with, ready to lend a hand of advice to someone that might be afraid to ask, and they find out how nice we all are,,,

Can't say i have been to many other bird boards much, but i do know this ,
Birds of a Feather is THE BEST!
And it's directly due to the people here,on all levels,,:goodjob:
