As you know, Bucky and Penske joined Strider last May. The problem being that they were clipped before I got them, so after quarantine Steve had to modify the budgie fort to 'handicap' everything. He lowered all the perches so 'thud' didn't hurt himself. Penske's flights came in rather quickly, but Bucky did not have such luck. But, now they are here!

He's still a little rough and rusty, but the his friends are showing him the ropes, and all seem to be having a blast. The master fort maker has now been able to return everything to normal height and I am really enjoying watching them in this new stage.

Even though they have lots of room and multiple food bowls, it seems they spend an awful lot of time jockeying for the same perch and fighting over the same nugget!

They look so cute together, at least they will never be lonely with 2 shadows following. LOL
It has to be interesting to watch them.

They are sooooo sweet...It's such fun watching my male and hen play all day, they even know when it's bed time! One of them is a screamer, haven't found out yet coz when I go to close to the cage they watch me! happy to hear that their fighting [so to speak ]over the same thing.Coz mine do the same thing. You know I put some string beans in the cage next to their ladder [after they defrosted and got room temp],they spend half the day carring them up the ladder and going back down when they drop it.SO fun to watch them:funny:
I'll get some pics on one of these days,I think they look very much Like Robins guys!:drool2:
