My beloved Jack passed this morning in my arms..I just can not believe he is gone..I barely can write this ..
This morning I went to go get him to give him his medcine and When he climb into my arms..lay his head in my chest..looked up at me and gasp his last breathe..It was like he was saying goodbye to me..
My heart is so torn and broken I can not even bare to think of him not Playing peek a boo with me or danceing..all the speical stuff.
When we found Jack 3 yrs ago They called him Bad boy..He was in this store and no one could get him out..I walk into that store open the door and he came right to me ..in my arms like he knew me forever and has been with me ever since..We name him Jack because he reminded me of a Jack in the box.. Bounceing all the time..
My husband and I are just walking around today tearing up eveytime we look at his swing and NO JACK..WE ARE JUST SHOCKED..
I feel like I have done something bad..something I could have done to prevent this awlful thing
MY JACK IS GONE..He is now under my baby willow tree faceing the sun.
This is where my ashes are going..Fly high and wonderful my beautiful boy.
Here is my Jacks smiles

Oh, Debbie - my heart sank when I saw this - I did not want to read this. I know what it is like to not have the words to right.

You took that Jack who everyone thought was a 'bad boy' and gave him hope; gave him a life. There are no words to console at times like this, nothing to take away the pain or make sense out of it. I share your tears - Jack is so beautiful and so happy and smiling in those pictures.

My prayers are with you and your entire family and you grieve a tremendous loss and walk through the vale of tears. :tighthug:

Fly free, beautiful Jack - you knew the right arms to go to that day in the store.

I'm so very sorry this has happened. I didn't 'know' Jack but I feel your pain.:(
...I feel like I have done something bad..something I could have done to prevent this awlful thing...We all do the best we can to provide our birds a good life. What each of us decide is a "good life" will always have risks and there will always be the possibility of accidents. I live with this each and every day of my life. Housing two male macaws together and cage free in a room comes with risks. Would I change it or think they would have a better life caged and separated? Nope, I'll live with the risks and as I would suggest to you, focus on the good life we have provided them.:tighthug:

I am so sorry. No words can express how much it hurts when we lose part of our family. God bless you for the good life you gave him. Fly free beautiful Jack, he'll be waiting at Rainbow Bridge.

Oh Debbie, I am just shocked and so so sorry. :tighthug: Jack certainly knew who to choose that day and I have no doubt he made the right choice. I don't think you could have done anymore than you did and he knew how loved he was.

Fly free Jack, your smile will live on

Oh no Debbie, I am so so sorry. So much horrible news here lately.

Jack was a beautiful boy and you should take comfort in the fact he ended his days with you and not in that shop.

Thinking of you:tighthug:

I'm sure you gave him the best home you could, and that he was very happy with you. That's all we can do. I'm so sorry for your loss:(
