I am so excited that the flock is getting along and enjoying 100% freedom with one another, 100% of the time. Everyone can choose to interact with one another, fly together, or have their own private area.
Sammy and Strider believe themselves big enough boys to use Fort Coco (even though they look quite funny in it). And they seem to enjoy one another's company for the most part. Instead of having Fort Sammy and Fort Strider separate, we've decided to combine them. And so the project moves forward!
Introducing the first component of their Fort: The Food Hut! :D

Thank you everyone:)
Yes, Shirley, he built the food hut from scratch. As I am typing this he is finishing the flooring, has disassembled everything and is getting ready to carry it upstairs and reassemble. Here are the final two garage pictures. The next two pictures will be with birds on it. I've placed red dots to draw attention to the perching areas on both ends. The center is left open to encourage 'fly overs':

Ta Da! The finished Fort!
We've already needed to install a barrier in the dual food hut.... Sammy initiated a "this is my food bowl, that is my food bowl too" conversation with Strider...
You will see that Coco is on Fort Str'ammy, and Strider is sitting on Coco's swing...
I can only offer choices, I cannot control what they do with them.:foot-tap::nuts:

Wow Robin, it is absolutely amazing! I'm trying to keep the computer away from Nolan so he won't be jealous!
Cool! What a nice area. Plenty of room and choices where to be with a lot of enriching things to do. Steve did good! - with your instruction/plan.:D
j/k Steve. I know you could have done it on your own, that is with Coco's premission of course. We won't go there, right! :funny: You did it with or without her permission is what matters. Some times us guys just have do what we have to do.:agree::)

The finished product is great! I love the feeding hut that you added. Birds can be very territorial! Good luck with getting them to share nicely. This really inspires me to get started on mine :)

Thanks, Susie - it has worked out quite well for them. I love to watch them together, and get more pleasure out of that than I ever could with them interacting with me. Fortunately, I have both - but I do just love watching them be birds, especially when they have relay races! I have since enclosed the area and added a few more toy caddys.
Here's a picture I took of them this evening, and you can see they continue to 'share well'! :)
