Long time. Well I guess it is time to keep in touch with all of you.
Mark is on Vac. for the next 3 weeks so I don't know how much I will be on here but it is good to see all of you. I have been reading and I guess it is time to start putting in my 2 cents worth. :roflmao2:


For some of you that don't know me. I have a BC conure (Polly), a blue parakeet (Blue), a SC2 (Bacardi), B&G Macaw (Taco) and three Beautiful Bourke's (2 rosy, (Corky and Cricket) and 1 normal (Scooter).

Well I will learn it... but all the stuff on this site is new. Do you have dial up? I hope my pic. in my sig. it not too big and people with dial up are having to wait for the page to load. If anyone is let me know and I will take it off and put something else there.

Maybe, this will help you new members post pics. Like I need it, easy and simple.

After you copy and paste your pics from photo bucket or one of the pic keeping sites. Copy your pic then come here open a new post.

If you look above where you write your post you will see a yellow square with grey mountains click on that. A new window will open at top of page. Paste your pic there and click OK. Bingo, the pic will show in your post as a pic not a link.
Complete your post and you are finished.

I use RoadRunner. My Internet is via cable. They are the only Internet Provider in my area. I have not used dial-up for a long time. I know it takes a long time to download pics as my parents still have a dial-up connection at their house. I normally use lower resolution for my normal pics so that it won't make them wait for too long. :-)

Hi Ginny, I followed Shirley's instruction to upload the pic from my computer, since I do not have a pic-keeping site yet. It is very easy but has a file size limitation. (Anyone, please correct me if I'm wrong.) Can't wait to see your fids' pics!

Wow it is great to see you also. I know what you are going through with the mess in your house. The other house we use to live in we added 3 rooms off the back. We went the full length of the house and 12" out. What a mess it was. I had dust all over the house. I never did get the dust out of my couch and stuff.

I am sorry you are feeling down. But that is sweet that little ole me could cheer you up. I am sorry you couldn't see my picture. :scratchch I guess I will have to keep working at this stuff.

Keep you chin up and just remember how good it is going to be when it is all done.

This is Bacardi my 4 year old MSC2. She is my little girl.

Here is Taco. She is around 14 I think. We got her from a older couple and the lady broke her hip and wanted to find a good home for her and we got her. :dance:

:eek: NO NO it was the lady that owned Taco that borke her hip. Taco is fine. she is in good health and is a great bird. The lady's daughter's big dog (lab) jumped on her and she fell and broke her hip. It was not healing good at all and she was having a hard time getting around and just couldn't take care of the cage and bird and all and wanted to find her a good home. We were lucky enough to get her.

Cricket is a Rosy Bourke's and he was from Shirley last year. She raises them. He is a year and 3 months.

Thank you very much. It is getting harder to take their pics. They are way too smart. When I saw them being so cute and they saw me slowly grab the camera they turn around immediately. I think it is the flash they do not like. I cannot lower the flash on my camera like Shirley's. Oh well, I hope they will get used to it. I hope the flash won't do any harm to them.

I think Sinbad is super cute too. He seems like a bigger Grey like Oliver. How much does he weigh? Oliver is about 500 grams.

No he doesn't talk yet but Cricket and Corky do. They say (Hey baby) and (pretty pretty) and (pretty bird) I am sure Scooter will learn soon.
