The Parrot Who Owns Me

This book was written by Joanna Burger. It is a true account of the relationship between her and her parrot named Tiko. For anyone who feels that their parrots are more then pets (and I think that is all of us), I highly recommend this book. Also, Joanna is very approachable, she works for Rutgers University in Princeton NJ and I have emailed her about Tiko, and she responded even though she is currently traveling. I would love to know if there is anyone else who as read this book, and if so what they think.

My 10yo son read it a few weeks ago (he reads at an advanced level and only likes true life type stuff) and said he really enjoyed it. Thought it was one of the best books he'd read.

I'm yet to get around to reading it but you have thumbs up from my 10yo. :thumbup:
