didn't know if many have ever seen much of Button Quail and since i took a few pics after they hatched, worth sharing :)

I love button quail I think they are adorable and thought about getting some we have a huge back yard so making a button quail pen would not be a big issue...

love the pictures. do you think button quail would be ok in an aviary with finches? i have a large aviary and i think activity on the floor would be interesting. how many in a five foot long, 2 feet deep aviary?

I've never done it, but I've known people at the bird fair who've kept button quail on the floor of their large flight cages. They are SO cute. They've also kept diamond doves -- very sweet birds. As for how many... I don't know... they are, like finches, messy... lot of cage-cleaning.
