I have never seen one but out of this clutch I think this one looks brown and tan. Dad was a normal green an english budgie ..mom was a pure yellow an amercian budgie
There was 6 of them... 2 Aqua. blues....1 dusty blue....
1 yellow/brownish... 1 green... and this one.
What do you guys think ?
Has anyone seen a a brown budgie?
the tip of the tail is brown for sure..

I second Elise BEAUTIFUL! Oddly enough, brown is one of my fav colors! Absolutely gorgeous :D

I'm just trying to think of what parrots naturally have some brown plumage.... hmm.. :scratchch

I'm thinking that looks like the Cinnamon mutation?

I was amazed at the number of color combinations you had in one clutch. Is this the usual case with your birds?

I googled "brown parrot" and got a bunch of Meyers... :wub: Just thought I'd share that with you! :heart:

I know I was amaze too..I am not sure if it is un-usual ..I am really new at this..
It was such a large clucth..the last two I had to take them out of the nest and gave them to a foster hen that was laying on eggs I already knew where not going to hatch..she feed them for about a week and then just stop .. now I am feeding them.. all 6 babies..do good and healthy.
Now I have 4 hatchlings in my blue english budgies..:emot-danc
