EDIT: I've always had trouble with math... :rolleyes: Kilroy hatched in 2000 which makes her 8 and not 9! :doh:

OMG! We forgot! Well, we don't know her ACTUAL hatch date, but she was about 8-9 wks old when we got her on President's Day (Feb. 22nd'ish) in 2001, so she should be 8 yrs old... I've been telling everyone she's turning 8 this year...

Now I have to go tell Steve, and eat some pumpkin pie w/whipped cream to celebrate!! She is our first bird "together". We drove to a town (Delphi) over an hour away to get her, and didn't even know what a Bourke's was... just that it was "different" from and parakeet, and "pink"... so off we went, and "my" new bird took to Steve within 3 days!! :wub:
