Gypsy our Military Macaw

This bird never ceases to make me laugh if not once to more than once a day..I was getting ready to start food and water in the birds room and I started with Gypys cage..well there she is sitting on her empty food dish and this is how it went:

Me: Gypsy I need your dish, so I can put food in it

Gypsy: (After studying me for a moment) NO

Me: What do you mean no?

Gypsy: Huh? she says as she is eye balling me

Me: Silly bird, so lets have that dish


With her head cocked to one side and a twinkle in her eye she just starts laughing and moves off the dish and then proceeded to do her Military Macaw head movement which is very quick movement side to side, along with a couple nods up and down..

lol yeah I try to get that stuff recorded but it never works out lol thats about the time the clam up..lol with the exception of our mini macaw he never quits talking he is always on..but i can never get some of the funny stuff he does on video..he has this bell he totes all over the cage and seems to like to keep it in his pellet dish, well if we fill the bell with some pellets he will pick up the bell with his foot and eat the pellets out of it..I have tried many times to get the it on video but the moment he sees the camera he drops the bell and eats out of his dish like normal..

I love the Military Macaws they are so much fun...and gypsy has so much personality..not to mention a sense of humor..lol
