This lady is an Ornithologist who comes to own a red-lored amazon called Tiko, owned by 2 sisters i think it is and the daughter is left with him and doesn't like him much. Anyway, so she takes him on and really a story all about their relationship.
My only concern wtih this book, is that she makes references to feeding this bird chocolate  surely as a biologist and ornithologist she should know better... she mentions it's 'bad' for him and that they try to limit it - but doesn't the woman realise it's potentially poison!! :(
anyway, aside from that, it's a very nice story indeed. :agree:
