Well I'm here without glasses. I just got back from my follow up after lazic surgery yesterday. The right eye has been blurry and the doc says it really dry and should clear. I used to be near legally blind in my left eye and the right was like 160/20. I checked out at 25/20 in both but that is with a little cloudiness:emot-danc I can't tell you how it feels to throw those coke bottles away......Life seems to be ever changing for the better as of late. I better be careful about how I feel b/c things can change in a heart beat. For now I'm about three feet off of the floor:twirl: can't spend much time..not supposed to be in bright lite or work on computer...nothing to strain the eyes......

Shirley, they can correct any vision problem today. I had ACUTE astigmatism with far sightedness which was the very last one aproved by the FDA for the proceedure. Almost anything can be corrected now.
Neil,
You are very nice looking with and without glasses. It is nice to be able to see who we are chatting with. I have astigmatism and nearsightedness. I would be interested in getting this done for myself.
Neil, you are both handsome and distinguished! I like both pics with and without! I like your smile on the second one! :D
:thanx: for sharing your pics!

Neil - Jean beat me to it! Handsome and distinguished! Thank you for the pics! You look terrific in both! :D
And yes, that's my right eye, astigmatism and far-sighted. So that do-able? How nice!!! :emot-danc
Great pics Neil & CONGRATULATIONS:emot-danc :emot-danc :emot-danc :emot-danc I was going to have it sone but my right eye isn't bad enough so I would still have to wear 1 contact lens or have specs for 1 eye which seemed a bit pointless:rolleyes:

Neil, what an awesome thing to do for yourself.
I wear glasses too, have been for over 30 years. I was told that they could correct my vision so that my prescription wasn't so bad, but I'd still have to wear glasses. Not exactly what I was hoping to hear.
I do notice my eyesight ids getting much worse this past year. In fact, I have an eye exam scheduled for July 5th. Well see what the doc says! This getting older is for the pitts!!! I hope, I can have as good an outcome as you. Two years ago I was getting a cataract on one eye.
