Sun is shining again.
It's my appointment at the hospital this afternoon.... can't eat anything after 8.30, nor can I drink - I'm surprised I can't have water...
anyway that's that..(:help:)
college wasn't too bad we did role play of help-desk and customer last night, all had to have a go at being each.
she wrote on bits of paper what the 'customers' had to say and then she picked who would pretend to be help desk.
when I was help desk, my problem was the persons screen contrast was turned down so they thought it wasn't working and the person had to pretend to be really dumb and not even know where the buttons etc are or anything.. it was fun anyway.

Good Morning! :wavey: It's good night for me. It is anly 47 at 12:30 AM. This is the warmest night we've had in ages. It is supposed to be sunny and 75 again today.

Kristi, it's nice to hear you enjoyed your class yesterday. I hate afternoon procedures that don't let you drink even water. I am surprised they did not have you eat a special diet yesterday and drink that awfel tasting phospho-soda last night (Fleet) a brand name here in the US. The reason you can't have water is so the anesthesia will not make you sick to your stomach and up chuck. Just a few drops a few times a day to moisten your mouth is safe, just don't swalloow it.
"Good Luck" with your test.

Wishig all a nice day!

im not having anaesthetic, they just give a sedative. I don't have to have that, I can just have a throat spray but obviously having a tube stuck down your throat won't be nice.
I think it's actaully because they are insterting a tube right inside my stomach and they also take a sample of it (eeeugh) so needs to be empty.

Good Morning Everyone! I would still like to be in bed right now! LOL!

Kristie...I hope all goes well at the hospital. Keep us posted.

The temps are supposed to remain in the mid to upper 80's here, which is really not that bad. But however sent their humidity here...please take it back! LOL! The last couple of days it has been higher than usual...and we are considered high desert...and the hotter temps are not as hot because of it. However, when the humidity is higher the heat is hotter! UGH! If there is a breeze it is always nice.

I think I am going to go back to bed! LOL!

Happy Wednesday, all! :wavey:

We're settling into our regular rainy afternoon, evening for the summer.:rain: Lots of humidity, so I'm going to stay inside as much as possible. The mosquitos are thick.

Kristie, role-playing is always fun to do. I hope your procedure goes well. Think happy thoughts. :highfive:

Good morning, Jean! :highfive:

Hi ya, Sue! :highfive:

Jeff, It's nice to see you looking forward to your PT. I remember I always felt worse afterwards. But, I sure did like the water massage bed. :agree:

Majj, you have a beautiful daughter. The bird pictures are awesome.

Hi Bill, I know the feeling.. I wish I could be back in bed too. I'm yawning like crazy. Must be that kind of day. I just can't seem to wake up. Maybe Florida shared some of its humidity with you, but you can keep it, we don't want it back. We have plenty.

Dr visit yesterday ended up with an exam and x-rays. Dr says he'll call if the x-rays show a fracture. Most likely he thinks it's a severe bruise. I'm not allowed to bend or lift for a month.:funny: HA! His advice? Stay off my butt. Now, how am I supposed to get any writing done?:scratchch

Hi Vicki! Hope your back pain leaves you alone and I could see you standing and typing. No more picking up heavy furniture to clean. HEHE! I hope the x-rays don't show anything bad.

I got my car's tires balanced, oil and air filter changed, fluids checked and I am ready to go on my trip next week. YEAH! The previous owner must have hit a curb as the rim is slightly dented but nothing to be concerned about. Whew! I do plan on getting chrome wheels once I can afford it.

Kristie, I hope all goes well for you today.....sending a hug for ya :tighthug: Let us know the outcome.

Vicki, I sure do hope it's just a bruise, and nothing more, which will heal faster. :tighthug: hugs for you too!

Bill, ya get some extra rest? I see ya got some stuff done :p

Majj, what lovley piccys of your daughter!! She's beautiful, I'm sure she prob got that from her mum ;) Please do share more when you can!!

Jeff, hope ya did get a chance to get some workshop stuff done, we're eagerly awaiting your results :D

Sue, at least it's not still cold weather, but I imagine, w/out a/c it would be an adjustment. BTW....where's those bathroom pics?? hehee

Jean, that 75 degrees sounds very nice!! Better than cold!!

Well, guess the a/c is messing up again :help: It's getting hotter by the minute. I thought something was up when our living room temp hit 84 last evening!! Hope they will get a real person out her to fix this problem, or get a new a/c unit in her ASAP!! This sucks!!

Hope ya'll have a good day!!

Hi, just got back from a squash match @10.40pm, it was 90 degrees here to day and with no aircon on court it was unbelieveably hot, I melted. I won by 2 points but didn't play well. I need an early night after a mad busy work day and then squash tonight.
Shirley I know what you mean about work.
Vicki, I hope your back is only bruised.
Barb, I will post bathroom pic's I promise. Aircon, I wish!!:rotflmao: If we continue to get temps like this we'll need it but like Kristie said these temps are so rare it would be a waste.
I'm wilting, see ya all tomorrow.

Our temp cooled off a little. It's 3:24 and only reached 70 so far. Barb, and Sue, wish I could send you some cooler weather. It's still beautiful out!

Majj, your daughter is beautiful!!! you passed on some pretty genes! I love the on near the pool with the beautiful fids!

Sue, hope the weather cools down for you soon. This gloal warming is taking it's toll all over the world. Our climates are definately changing.

Bill, glad to hear you got your car all ready to travel. Isn't that reunion in Nebraska coming up soon?

Vicki, I hope you find out your spine is only bruised! Please, let us know how the x rays turn out.

Shirley, have a good day at work!!

Barb, try not to melt into a puddle in the heat. At least you have a sprayer for the fidsand a ceiling fan.

Jeff, that bedroom is going to be like a brand new one once you are finished. Can't wait to see pics!

Have a nice day!
