Well thank goodness it wasn't so hot last night, slept much better. The sun is shining this morning though it's not so hot, the breeze is cooler.
Got college today... I brought my trousers and trainers with me cos I just know if I wear my flipflops that woman will find it an excuse to give me grief. As trevor said, unless you have steel caps you may as well not bother - soft leather trainers aren't going to save your feet if something heavy lands on them !!
someone did drop a computer once in class...
Think it may cloud over this afternoon anyway. I want to make the most of the sun!
my feet are burn't from sunday - not bad at all but i notice it when i'm in the shower, warm water feels boiling hot on them!

Well we've got the sun too and it's pleasantly warm. Sunday was so opressive, they had really bad floods in the north of our county after the storms, someones house was demolished and cars were wrecked.

One of the North Yorkshire villages we like to visit for a weekend, Helmsley, was totally flooded.
Here's a link, that poor womans house and the gravestones being knocked over must be heartbreaking.

It mentions Lord and Lady Feversham, Lady Polly Feversham was a customer of mine , she bought one of my designs at a craft fair that was held at her stately home Duncombe Park. She was a true lady with a great sense of humour:funny:

I know, for some reason it's shortening the link.

If you type in Google "north yorks floods" click on top link "new results for north yorks floods", then the 3rd one down "must be festival season" there are quite a few pic's. Complete devastation, roads and bridges have dissappeard.

Gosh how awful! those poor people, having your house flooded must be pretty awful - like that awful Boscastle thing last year - or was it earlier this year, i forget..

Happy Tuesday all, :wavey:

Kristie, keep a good attitude about class today. Don't let your instructor goad you into responding. And take care of that sunburn. ;)

Sue, what kind of designs do you make?

Jeff, have fun staining. Now, how was it in the Karate Kid? Side to side? Up and Down? :rotflmao:

Well, waking up once again in pain, :( I've decided to call the doctor and get an appointment for today. I'll let you know how it goes.

Have a great Tuesday. :highfive:

Hiya everyone :wavey: Wow, guess I've been a busy girl, to just now be posting :p

Fathers Day was nice. We went to FIL house and hubby's brother was there, which we haven't seen in a while. We all went out in the boat and did some tubing, hehehe Had a good time. Dinner was steak, so of course the men were happy. We were out there about 3 hrs, and hubby got really burnt, so he hasn't been feeling the greatest. It actually got pretty bad where he's now blistering (sun poisioning) so he's was home yesterday & today, trying not to sweat too bad to make it worse :o

Last night was Tina's softball game, so I decided to bring along the Turkey bird. As soon as we got there, and I let him out of his carrier, he was the spectical of the stands, roflol. He greeted everyone w/a loud hello as he waved his crest and flapped his wings. He was very happy to get out, although stayed very close to me on my arm. He did great!! Had lots of people asking about him and birds in general, and had 3 younger boys very interested in him, had to be very careful so they would not just go to touch him. Ya know how kids are, even people tend to just want to go up and pet. I do not allow other people to pet or hold him, since we are still working on socalization. I don't need someone bit and sueing me. Told hubby maybe when that time comes where I feel more confident in someone else holding him, I'll have a waiver ready for them to sign, hehehe. Can never be to cautious.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!! Expecially the birthday girl......SUE

Good Afternoon! :wavey:

http://photobucket.com/albums/v387/jeanaskins/graphics/th_MS_yellow_lillies.jpgIt's a beautiful sunny day already 72 degrees. It looks like spring has finally reached our neck of the woods. :sunshines

Barb, it sounds like your family had a nice fathers day. Tell hubby, he better use a good waterproof sunscreen next time.:Blueflowe

Vicki, Sorry to hear you are still in a lot of pain. :tighthug: Glad to hear you are going to get a medical opinion. Please, let us know what the outcome is.

Jeff, I am ready for that second cup of pick me up.:highfive:
I can't wait to see the pics of your beautiful room once it's finished.

Sue, those floods sound terrible. They remind me of the Californis ocean view homes that have been sliding down the hill.

Kristi, you take care of that sunburn. I am fair complected too, I know what a severe sunburn can feel like. It takes me several short exposures before I am
able to start tanning.

Bill, you must be busy today. Hope you are feeling better.

Shirley, same to you. Hope the teeth are feeling better today.

Wishing all a nice day! :wavey:

Hi Everyone and Good Evening!

I have been busy today as my first client was at 10AM but I first went to a meeting and then had to drive to Burley. I had clients back-to-back from 10 to 7PM! Tired but feeling okay. I found out what it is that is bothering my system...MSG!!!! I ate some potato chips with it and BOOM I felt terrible. No more products with MSG!

Scooter was happy to see her daddy as I was to see her. It was a hot one here today but I did not have to go out in it being that I was so busy. I have to get my car's oil changed and the tires balanced before my trip next week.

At least now you know what is causing you to feel sick! It is not good for you anyway.

If you're allergic/reacting to MSG, you may want to consider other soy sources, too...

Thanks BN! I talked with the nurse at work (who is awesome) and she also wanted me to consider having difficulty with digestion of fresh vegetables. I might start taking some papaya to aid in digestion.
