Morning Sue, and everyone else!
My only off day today, and it is filled with things to do here, the middle of my day has me attending a open house for a co-workers daughter then north to my parents house for Father's day fun,,b4 and after i have free to myself, which will probably mean just palin ol doing stuff around the house, hope i get some needed stuff done. With my new meds, and the fact (prob due to the meds) that my back is feeling better lately, i hope to get a lot of stuff done. the last couple days around here ,since i felt better, i have been a whirlwind of workin' energy knocked out a lot of stuff i have not had the desire to do , because of my back,

Sue... *ROFL* Down around these parts, at this time of the year, it approaches 90 by 10am and 100ish by 3pm. :O
:roflmao2: Hey BN, trust me this is HOT for here:funny: we Brits spend most of our time moaning about the weather then when it's hot we moan about it being too hot:rotflmao: Where about's are you???
Good Morning Sunday! Right now it is 44 degrees at almost 8 AM. We are forecast to have some hot days. The nice thing about it here is that the temps during the day can be warm or hot but the nights are cool. Plus, when it is hot one can go in the shade for relief as it is cool.
I better get going for now but I will be back later.
Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day! Plus today is Steve's 54th Birthday!
Nothing big planned - which is how he always wants it.
Beautiful weather again... bright sun, blue sky, 70's!
Kilroy's baby is a Normal color baby!! Her first normal color!! After all this trying, she finally makes a normal. It's only 13 days old.
You can't tell by the pic, but I can tell by the feet, and the pins that don't show up. Here is the "family", and one of baby:
I love Kilroy and her babies:heart:
Happy Birthday Steve:emot-danc :emot-danc :emot-danc :emot-danc

Happy Father's Day to all our birdy daddies. :wavey:
Sue, what a lucky break for you, thinking it was Monday and finding out it was really Sunday. Enjoy your "extra" day! :emot-danc
Jeff, have fun on your outings and don't hurt yourself while you work at home. ;)
Majj, it sounds like your daughter is going to have the time of her life. What a thrilling opportunity. :agree:
Hi birdnerd!! :highfive:
Have a great day, Bill. :beerchug:
Shirley, please tell Steve "Happy Birthday" from us, okay? It was such a joy to meet the both of you while you were down here in Florida. You both really has a way with birds. :agree:
Today is going to be a lazy day I think. Greg's napping and I just got back from getting my pain meds filled at Walgreens. My tailbone still hurts. Still making it hard to lay or sit but am giving it my best.
Jack was definitely jealous last night over all the fuss we were making with Bailey's new cage. We gave him extra loving hugs after we put Bailey to bed. I ordered him a new box of biscuits so I'll make a fuss over him when they arrive. He'll have fun helping me open the box.

Hello!
Yes it's been hot today too, I been at the beach. I wasn't going to go in the sea but in the end I was sooo hot i had to, and it was big rollers and they kind of sneak up and soak you! so no good for swimming but very refreshing!
i had my factor 20 sun cream so I'm not burnt (being a natural redhead I only go red.. never brown) a little pink on the shoulders.. But its soooooo hot in the house. I am on route to bed but the bedroom is west facing so gets the sun in the afternoon and even though i left the curtains pulled it's stinking hot in here :( I hate hot nights. I'd sleep in the garden if a) i had a friend and b) i didn't have work tomorrow!!
Sue have you got storms now? just been on the bbc weather website and said severe storms in the north of England. Also just been watching a bit of most haunted live, they're in wakefield and they've got heavy rain and thunder so I'm wondering if you got that too....??

Hey Sue,
I'm in central Texas. It gets a bit warm down here ... especially long about August.
Hiya VMTwriter. What kind of stuff do you write? I mostly write sci-fi and fantasy ... and so far, all of my stories and novels have a handicapped protagonist.
Good evening! I am very late to say my hello to all of you. We slept in this morning so did Elvie. I made a nice breakfast. Al wanted to watch the drag races on TV this afternoon. He got some phone fathers day wishes.
We had a yummy steak dinner tonight. One of his favorite!
Vicki, Iam sorry to read your tail bone is still giving you that much pain. Do you think it may be wise to have X rays taken? I fractured mine and didn't know it until 2 weeks later. Only because the pain was lasting so long.
Bill, enjoy your fathers day with your dad and your little Scooter.
Birdnerd, I would be melted into a Texas puddle if I were in your heat!
Kristy, it's good to hear you got some beach time in.
Shirley, Give Steve a big birthday hug from me! Kilroy did it! ya hoo!!!:emot-danc
Majj, how lovely your daughter gets to go on such a nice tour. I hope she brings back lots of pics to share. Your dinner sounds yummy!!
Sue, it sounds like the 90% weather finally ot there. Don't let it melt you away. Our weather reached 66 today....When is Fatheres Day in the UK? Sending him a big USA Fathers Day hug!
Jeff, waiting for that good cup of coffee. Have a nice fathers day!
Barb, I hope you and the family shared a nice fathers day!
Wishing everyone a happy day!
Kristie,
and c.) I would not be carried away by the mosquitoes. HEHE! Hope you were able to cool down!
Kristi, sorry to hear about your "hot" house. I take it you don't have air conditioning.

Kristie, yes we did get the most amazing storms last night, we watched out of the bedroom window the lightning lit up the whole sky!! It's cooler today. The North East had the worst storms i believe. Wakefield is about half an hour away from us.

Kristi, sorry to hear about your "hot" house. I take it you don't have air conditioning.
:rotflmao:Jean this hot weather is a rarity! nobody in uk except really rich people have aircon, or offices/factories and shops do, but not at home.
'Normal' summer temps are between 16 - 20ºC - yesterday was around 30 I reckon.
Right, aircon would be the biggest waste of money here:funny: :funny:
I have a ceiling fan in the conservatory and had a fan on the birds yesterday.
I learn something everyday! I would imagine ceiling fans are a blessing when it gets that hot.

The ironic thing is, all year everyone moans about the weather, about too much rain and no sun, and when we get a hot day or too, everyone - ok, Older people moan about the heat. well you just can't please some! I think the younger people love it, but older people seem to prefer miserable weather. well, the one's I see do anyway! I guess we're not used to it and it does kind of leave you feeling tired

Hi Jean,
That's what we have AC for. :D ... and that's why I do all my yardwork in the summer before 9-10am. By then, I'm starting to roast, so I spend the rest of the day indoors.
:)

That looks like the time of day to be doing yard work. When I lived in Missouri I got up early so I could start mine at 7:AM and be finished by 9:AM. I was dripping wet by 7:10 AM when it was hot and humid.
