I asked to ol man to get some natural rope so we can make some toys for our kids and he brought home nylon white rope from Lowes. Is that ok to use for stringing together pieces of willow tree branches? He said he couldn't find anything of all natural fiber. If not do you know what places sell the rope I need. Thanks, Sherri....

Hello there!
Use 100% cotton rope, not nylon. Nylon is notorious for cacthing toenails and such.

Thank you, I thought it might not work. He said that Lowes didn't have any natural fibers, or cotton rope. I guess I will have to get online and see who has some. Thanks again.

You can usually find 100% cotton and/or sisal rope at Lowes, Home Depot, etc. It's a little harder to find cotton, but they usually have it... and if you want small cotton rope, then the old-style laundry line rope is cotton.

If you can find there is a cotton rope I call it mop rope like what the string mops were made out of, it pulls away easily and the threads break easily, sisal is my top fave though.
