Hi all -- My 4 1/2 month old ekkie is happily walking and jumping all over the house. When he walks he is quite bowlegged -- is this normal? He had a vet visit when I got him a month ago or so, and was fine...just wanted to see if they all are this way! Thanks,
Amy

Bowlegged? My parrot is pigeon toed! (All of them, actually!) Their little tosies point in toward each other and it is the funniest thing! I can't say that I recall any of my birds being bowlegged tho.

I sure would like to see his bowed leggies :scratchch
Hi Amy
Since he had a vet visit a month ago, I'm thinking there's no leg problems. Their legs are far part at the hips/body compared to where their feet hit the ground while wailing. Like a " V " look. Add in pigeon toed (parrot toed as Tina rightfully calls it) and maybe that's what your seeing? If so, that's normal.
