I'm not sure but it's the one with the clasps that attach in the back. He loves it he sit very still and waits for me to put it on.

Floyd is 3 and we have had him since January this year. He has really comea long way he was hardly out of his cage before coming to live with us and never around many people. He is a diffrent bird than he was 3 months ago.

Floyd is Grgeous!!!  Is your dog a Lab? He's so sweet to allow Floyd on his back.

Please tell us more about your beautiful Floyd. How old is he? how long you've had him? anything more you care to share. :) I see a horse trailer in th background of one of the pics. Do you have horses or livestock?

I'm truly amazed you got a feather tether on him! It has so many snaps - and is heavy and awkward - He's the first bird I've seen actually wear one!

If it works, that's great... be careful about getting his feathers caught in the snaps - it doesn't take much to turn a bird off completely to wearing a harness. If it gives you trouble, there are a couple others with one or two snaps, and then there's the Aviator with NO snaps and a built-in elastic leash.

Check this out:

Dr. Cook, our resident avian doc, puts the aviator harness on her M2 Merlin.

He is sooo cute! Love the pics of him being outside, so pretty. What is that red thing that he is eating?

Roxy has the feather teather too. The breeder that i got her from, all of her birds wear them with no problems. She was great with it when i first brought her home, i have to get her used to it again since i have not tried putting it on her all winter. Actually i have to get her a larger size, the one she has is a little small, if i can find an easier one......I WILL lol.
