Happy Tuesday, all. :wavey:

hot and humid down here in FL. We're getting out summer rains. :rain:

Jean, thanks for the good morning. Yes, my book is coming along well. I'm more than 1/2 way through it now. :twirl:

I guess we're all getting a late start on our "good morning's" today. I hope all of you are well and doing great. Have a Terrific Tuesday. :D

I do not like care for the hot and humid weather at all. I seem to have a tough time coping with it.

It is good to hear you are already half way through your book. Do you have days you get hung upon your thoughts and hit a stumbling block?

I have a "rough" outline I work with, so I kind of know where the story is supposed to go. But, I have to fill in the details and sometimes that gets a little hard. Like right now, I'm in the middle of a scene, where I know how it's supposed to end, but I have to get the two characters to that point so I can write the end of the scene and move it into the next scene.

Sometimes, if it's just not coming, I'll skip a scene and move on. Then I'll go back later and fill it in.

I can imagine that would happen at times.

Hi Jean, I hope you start getting some warmer weather :agree: but not too hot n humid so you would melt....ya know your are just too sweet :p

:wavey: to everyone else, and hope you are having a good day too

LOL looks like I'm in emoticon mood :funny:  too bad there's a limit, hehehe

Anyway....Tina had her game last night. They won 13 - 11. Was a very good game. Tina got a walk and they threw the ball and missed, so she hauled butt and stole all the bases from 1st, hehehee. She has left for a church camp this am and will be back sat afternoon. I hope she has a blast. Been a couple years since she's been, I knew she had good memories from before.

Got our claim taken care of, and truck is going in the shop today. We also get a rental while it's in  Good news too, his boss is paying the deductable too since it was on his property and assumed liability. More good news, our deductable is not $500 like we thought, instead our insurance co. hooked us up w/only a $200 deductable.......whooohoooo! :highfive:

So off to clean the house, and get little one to nap.

I will tell Tina when she gets back, I'm sure she'll appreciate the encouragment.

Oh what a day! Tuesdays are my long days...long in the sense that my first client is at 11AM and my last ended today at 6PM. 7 hours straight! UGH! It will be longer next week...10 to 7 non-stop!

Tired and ready for bed! HEHE! I will have to chat after I have had some time to relax. If not tonight, tomorrow.

I get to take care of my niece in the pm's this week, which will be interesting.

Tomorrow morning, I need to finish and mail a grant (and the water bill payment) then shorten the grass.

If there's time, and I'm not wiped out, I'll nuke the weeds again and start rearranging bricks... must remember to kick 'em over before I pick 'em up so I don't get scorpioned.

(:

(:

It can be a job, years ago my hubby and I got a lot of used bricks whe an old brick building was torn down and made walkways in the garden and a patio area.
Are you making anything special with them?

My niece is 9.

I'm using the bricks as an outline for the rock garden. It needed redo-ing after we had a lot of rain, which turned the back yard into a river.

BN, when you're done want to come over and do my back yard?

If you'll come help me finish my rock garden... I'm going to edge tomorrow then maybe, just maybe start rearranging the stupid bricks (I'll leave the smart ones for later) so I can put the anti-weed cloth down.

Of course, after a g'zillion hour drive to Tampa, I won't be walking much for a few days.
