Shirley update

Shirley just called, she asked me to update everyone. The trip is going well for humans and fids. They sailed through most of the way only hit two spots of traffic congestion so far. They are 110 miles from the Florida border. Their cruze is set on 70, they intend to arrive at Ginnys around midnight eastern time.

They took the fids out for a rest and lunch when they stopped for a picnic lunch at a rest stop. She will call me just before they arrive so I can post their arrival on the board. Since it will be late and they need to settle the fids in as soon as they can.

Is she visiting FL? If so, for how long? She sent me a PM a while back, mentioning that she was visiting Fl in July.

Joe, they either have or will be across the FL state line from GA by now. They are headed to Ginny's in Seminole, FL, they are planning on a 1 week trip.That would be cool if you could meet when she is there. Do you have her cell # ? if you need it let me know and I will PM it to you.

With my schedule right now, it would be difficult to meet her. Maybe another time, when all of my chaos slows down.

Hopefully my schedule will subside when I am licensed. My second job offers me an additional income and the hours that I need to become licensed. As a Program Supervisor, I do not get the 1:1 contact the the state requires for the the exam. The second allows me 1:1 hours that I need. The biggest obstical is arranging supervision around my schedule and my supervisors schedule. All will work out in time! This is why I take so many vacations! I am trying my best not to burn out.

My goodness Joe,You definately need the vacations. At least you prevent a burn out by planning them as needed, I can see that is a must. It will be wonderful when you get all the hours need. That is a huge requirement that will pay off in the long run. :goodjob: :beerchug:

Shirley called a few minutes ago. They are in Tampa, :beerchug: very close to Ginny. She was going to call Ginny to get final instructions to her house when she got off the phone with me. They are tired and are going to sleep in tomorrow morn, she will be on the board then to say hi. She sends her love to everyone. :heart:

We are here~ All is well! Much to tell! Big Adventure just prior to arrival at Ginny's at 12:30 am last night but must tell later tonight!

Ginny LOVED the normal color baby Bourke's I brought her to add to the two Rosy Bourke's I brought her last year.

Joe -- June; not July -- never was July. We'll be back again and again.

Bill: Vacation (noun) -- 1. Time deliberately taken away from work to do something more interesting or relaxing. 2. Something most of us don't get often enough. 3. The best part about teaching is the long one in the summer.
