Today I was able to grab the camera and catch a few shots of Bailey taking a bath in his water dish.

This is my favorite shot. See the water being flung around?

He wasn't too sure about the camera, several times it looked like he was giving me a "oh all right" look. He'd stop bathing climb up on his perch, then back down he'd go, and splash some more. :)
He gets everything wet all around his cage, and today he even got me wet because I was standing close with the camera. :D
Your little guy has come along way in a short time. Iam so glad he chose you.

Since Bailey has been in his new cage, I haven't taken any pictures of him in his bath. I was finally able to catch him after his bath the other day, and here's what he looked like.

Bailey has settled down and seems to enjoy living with us. We have a sort of schedule. Mornings we wake up and do our stretches, then have breakfast. We move into the hallway off my office for the rest of the day. (He gets a total view into my office and can see me at my desk). I put sunflower seeds into his pinata during the day so he can snack. Then, after I'm finished with my work in the office, we go into the bedroom where we read the newspaper, watch Fox News and wait for daddy to come home from work. Sometimes we are extra long in the office and end up being there when Greg comes home from work. Bailey loves to squawk when daddy comes home. He hears the garage door go up and beats Jack to the punch when it comes to announcing daddy's home.
Bailey stays in the bedroom, playing on top of his playstand (on the top of his cage) for awhile, until he crawls around on his cage and back through the door. Sometimes he gets his britches in a twist and will take off flying across the room, usually ending up in the sink in the bathroom. If he does, I'll put the stopper in the sink and he gets an extra bath. He likes to have the water sprinkled down around his head.
Then, around 9:30 pm it's bed time and we go through our "nite-nite" routine.
He still is very "no touchy" when it comes to hands, but will step up onto a perch. I've taught him how to say "yes" by bobbing his head up and down. He doesn't talk, but "chatters" to himself and barks when Jack barks.
We've definitely become his flock. He calls out to us if either of us moves out of his sight. He loves to get Jack going and screeches along with Jack's barking.
He'll "kiss" goodnight, through the cage bars. Which is always cute.
It feels like he's always been a part of our life. And, I can't imagine a day without his chatter in the background.
What a wonderful life you have given Bailey I am so glad he chose you for his flock ..Love the new colour of the cage I don`t think I have seen it before , must browes the older messages when I get time I have missed a few I am sure with my busy schedual of late , why is life such a rush ....
Bailey is beautiful and I love to see his piccys ...
:thanx: Vicki, for Baileys update! He has definitely filled your hearts with a special love. I am sure you have mutually filled his with your love.
He needed a loving flock and found one.
