Here is an aerial view of part of Klamath Falls at the tip of the Klamath Lake. The lake is 25 miles long and is the deepest fresh water lake in the US. It ranks the 7th deepest in the world.

Here is a pic of the Klamath Belle in a cove. It has lunch and dinner excursions on the lake during the spring and summer months.

Below is a picture of the wildlife reserve in th Klamath Basin. It is the largest in the state of Oregon. and accommodated thousands of birds.

Below is some information about our lake and the best blue green algae.

<?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = O /><O:P>The best blue-green algae are brought from the "Upper Klamath Lake" which with their clean waters is founded in the Cascade Mountains, Southern Oregon. It is placed on volcanic region where volcano has showed its eruptive activity since 7000 years ago throwing out in the area 5 cubic miles burned material. Mountain range around Upper Klamath Lake continual has settled ashes too, supplying it with enriched and complete mineral amounts.
It is interested that lake area is dry resembling to desert with minimum rainfalls during a year. Klamath Lake is water supplied through seventeen extraordinary pure mountain streams and geothermal springs. In the bottom of the "Upper Klamath Lake" there is settled minerals in stoutness of 10 m, which are incorporated in blue-green algae in the same lake.

In the middle of natural beauty of the Oregon area phenomenon is discovered very clear, and it is connected with the actively volcanic influence from the distant geology past and closer geology seasons. There are high mountains, deep intersected valleys with rich mountain rivers, wide fields, sowed by lava, volcanic ashes and sloping rocks with the most heterogeneous interesting shapes.

The most interesting are many lakes that fit into landscape of the Oregon area in the unique way.

North of "Upper Klamath Lake" there is Crater Lake by depth of 590 m, which is placed on volcanic layers. From this lake water passes through many layers of Cascade Mountains dissolving many minerals on its way.

The lake with one's own hills and the two islands of the area shine with a very special beauty. Comparing to dimensions ( diameter 10 000 m and depth more than 1000 m), Crater Lake is one of the biggest lakes in the world.

In the bottom of the "Upper Klamath Lake" there is settled minerals in stoutness of 10 m, and on some places with exception the stoutness is so expressed that the lake stay deep 2 m and it is really paradise for algae. So settled minerals are incorporated in blue-green algae in the Lake.

A slope caused by height above sea level - 2300 m and wide surface, make suppositions about water underground connection with other structures, exactly with a unique Klamath Lake, founding on foothill of the mountain Shasta. Many minerals that originate by volcanic layers as well as a climate in the area, base supposition that in the water of Klamath Lake grow algae with a specific quality, transformed in very respected supplement.

In the Lake grow the most respected and balanced natural food characterized by many remarkable qualities. Really nothing can be compared with its nutritional profile

I love the crater one too but they are both gorgeous.

There is a place in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain that is like the crater one, it reminded me of Canada.

There was a boat like that outside our hotel last week.

Thanks Barb and Sue,

We definately have no shortage of water around here. The lakes are beautiful. We often take Elvie down to the park which borders the south end of the lake. He loves to watch the waves gently splash against the shoreline.

Crater Lake is absolutely spectacular to see. One can get lost in the mirror reflection of it's deep blue waters. It is definately one of natures wonders.

Thanks Vicki, it is beautiful and quite peaceful here. Not that much traffic and many lakes, rivers, mountain resorts near by. The pacific ocean is only about a little over three and a half hours drive, much closer in actual distance.

Here is a pic of the Oregon Coast

Here is one more pic of a beautiful secluded estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Oregon. There are still some areas that still remain private and secluded.

Thank you Jean!! How nice to put a picture with the vision in my head! Wow! It is just awesomely beautiful there!!!!

Thank you for the photos again and again!

Now, imagine a huge area of cornfields and soybean fields. Stick a small town in the middle with a little river running through the middle. That's Noblesville! :D

You're right about that, Jean! When Troy and I visited the PNW -- the Hoh Rainforest, and the coastal area of the Olympic National Park ... we did NOT want to come home! That was March of 2003.
