Happy Hump-Day!

Steve is off this week, then we begin our vacation to Florida to visit Ginny and Mark next Monday at 3 in the morning, or so. He works during the summer with a retired teacher putting up siding and windows on houses... free-lance and they've been doing this together during the summers for years.

I do believe we'll have another Birdie Barbeque because yesterday's was such a "screaming success"! AND we'll get pics! I'll down load them to the hard drive before I take movies of Merlin, IF that had anything to do with the problems. I don't think it did.

Have a lovely day! :Blueflowe:sunshines

Shirley that all sounds like such fun ..I wish you a safe journey and a wonderful holiday /vacation...Yes please piccys and plenty of them..
I was so happy to get your gift yesterday , today I got the frames and cleared away the top shelf of my DVD stand and now its a JJ momento shelf ...I can`t Thank you and Ginny enough...
Cooked anoth pot of curry after I shopped plenty of left overs too Yum !! and a bowl for the folks as well...it was nice and sunny to-day , tonight is cool , geeeee the weeks seem to fly by house cleaning day tomorrow , that always has me working up a sweat and the boys have fun to riding on my head and pooping in my hair while I vacuum , I always pray no-one will pop in un announced till the afternoon at least what a fright I would give them lol..
Shopped for Anita today she is off oversea`s on 24th so I bought her a few neccessaties , she has been training a new lady at the factory for 2 weeks now next week she will just go in at lunch time each day to see she is doing o.k and to answer any questions she may have , but she seems to have everything under control and David can also cover for Anita so he is there too..
Joe had his flu shot yesterday and Anita David and I are booked in for Monday morning , its suppose to be a very bad one this winter and they are advising everyone to have it not just the elderly, heart and asthmatic patients that they usually tell to have it ...of course we have left ours till the very last My folks had theirs done a couple of months ago ..never mind well be done before it gets to us ...

Anyone know about Wireless connections on laptops - just got a new one but we not sure how to get online 'on the move'
(only so I can take it away with me on holiday

My Apple laptops and my iMac G5 have Airport Extreme cards so I can go wireless and I got the Airport Express where I hook the wires into...then I am wireless. Airport Express can also be used by Windows-based computers. If you are in a wireless hot spot then you just have to set up to that network. Plus my printer is wireless too as it is hooked up to the Airport Express.

It is cold and windy here. It rained a lot yesterday AGAIN. The wind chill is below 40 degrees! YIKES!

Have a lot to do today. I might be on from time to time at work.

Hugs to you all!

Happy Wednesday, all. :wavey:

Woke up to rain yesterday and it rained all night and morning today.:rain: Makes for the kind of day where you just want to snuggle back under the covers.

Shirley, so sorry about the pictures but any excuse for another Birdie BBQ is a good one, right?:emot-danc Are you going to have computer access while on vacation?

Majj, that's so cool that you can incorporate your fids with your household chores. I bet the love riding on your head. :funny:The sound of the vaccuum doesn't scare them?

Jeff, get that coffee going.. have you gotten used to your new shift yet?:shrug2:

Kristie, I don't know a lot about wireless connections.. only that mine works. I don't know the details on how it happens or why. My only concern is when it doesn't, then I go yelling for Greg.

Bill, has summer decided to completely pass Idaho by this year? Oh wait, that's right. You get your one day of summer, come August, right?:rotflmao:

I think today is going to be a lazy day for me today. I'll make sure to get my quota of writing in and then heck with the rest of the day. I'll finish reading a friend's screenplay then start on another friend's new book that just arrived in the mail. It's going to be that kind of day what with the rainy weather.

Vicki,

Summer blew away! LOL! It was hot here during the last two summers so I won't be too upset if it is a cooler summer.

Good Morning! :wavey: it is 54 degrees sunny with a breeze today. I did not sleep much last night. I have been doing my spring cleaning and it is taking it's toll on my back, bottom, and legs. It is annoying when your mind works one way and your body works another. :(

Shirley, I know you are excited and busy getting things wrapped up before your trip. I am sure Ginny is as excited to see you too. Give her a big HUG from me. I look forward to to when she gets the time to join us here. :highfive:

Vicki, at least you have had lots of lovely sunshine so far this spring. The rain will make the flowers flourish. :Blueflowe
[QUOTE = Vicki] I'll finish reading a friend's screenplay then start on another friend's new book that just arrived in the mail. [QUOTE] You sound very busy and do more then write your own books.

Bill, once your :school: is over you should be ready to enjoy some of that late Idaho summer. We get ours late here too, your's seems to be even later.

Jeff, enjoy that coffee... It does help to wake the body and mind up, or it fools us into thinking it does. LOL

Majj, I am so happy to be able to share your sweet babies remembrance gifts. :tighthug: Shirley and Ginny are among the best ! I hope you can get some pics of your little helpers as you do your chores.

Sue, I miss your morning greeting. I hope you are having a fun vacation.

Hi to all the rest, and I wish everyone a happy day.

Sadenna, that is about 250 miles from me. When in August and how long are you planning on being there? It would be nice if we could meet somewhere near half way, Medford or Grants Pass.

Hi everyone again!

Yes, I went back to sleep for a bit!

Then Tucker woke me up with his "Language Skills" lesson! :funny:

Then TROY surprised us by getting up extra early for him! He's quite the night owl!! He was up at 9:30!! Mom! Go look in the 'fridge!!!

So we got up, and he'd spent FOUR HOURS the night before while we all slept making his first CHEESECAKE -- A chocolate raspberry cheesecake! And here are the pics!!

He was so disappointed that it had split, but I told him it was in the shape of his initial "T"! It was absolutely delicious!

Majj, Ginny and I are so pleased you are enjoying your surprises!

Vicki, yes! I'll have Ginny's Internet access in Florida, but no wireless on the way down - just your book! Troy will have an underwater film camera for Scuba pics! Plus his digital camera. He's just like me when it comes to taking pics... No, he isn't taking his spiders or snakes with him.

We are bringing Holly, Skyler, Play-Doh, and Michelle with us. :woot:

Troy, you are much more than a handsome young man, you have the skills to accompany your looks and brains. :tighthug: Your cheesecake looks delicious.
I like that you signed it with your initial. :beerchug:

Holly's not much for sweets. Skyler eats EVERYTHING... but he's flighted... so had to stay inside! :( His colors would have matched perfectly though!
