I just finished making this for a friend. I cut the bamboo a few months ago and it took awhile to dry so it took a lot longer to build then I thought it would. Its for an M2. The center section for a boing.
this is the base.

3/4" PVC can be filled with water for added weight or just toss something over the floor pieces if you desire extra added stability.

just a couple shots showing how I roped the joints after using a nut and bolt to old things together.

this is the arm for the boing

a rope grid on one end for climbing fun, each piece of rope easily replaceable.

Great job. Now if you could photograph/video each step for mechanical morons like me you would be the Parrot King

looks fun to build but my bird would chew threw that in less than a day. a perfect project for less destructive parrots.

This is really cool! It must have been really time consuming, but I'm sure the birds enjoy it! It's like a jungle gym for your feathered friends. Did you have plans, or was this an original idea?
