Here are our Mali Uromastyx Lizards..the smaller brownish one is our female she is still a baby, but the bigger black and yellow is our adult male..the female will eventually turn black and get some yellow but won't have as much color as the male..

They do look a lot different from the baby pic to the adult one, they do change a lot in color. They look well fed too.
:thanx: for sharing them.

The nice thing about the Uromastyx is their diet, they are vegetarian so it makes it easy since I buy veggies for the birds...they also don't require water as they get all their moisture from the leafy greens they eat I also spray a little extra water on them before giving them their veggies, the substrate in their enclosures is white porso millet and their temps in their basking area is about 115-125 degrees these guys like it hot. I have found the Uros very easy to care for feeding wise and matinence wise.

They are very pretty! My brother is a big reptile and snake person and took me to all these specialty stores. I almost bought a bearded dragon myself lol I've noticed a lot of people that keep birds also enjoy reptiles too.:)

oh yes they are little piggies when it comes to food..they get fed about midday as soon as they have had a chance to warm up under their basking bulbs and as soon as the food gets put in their faces are in it, they eat well and love their veggies
