and when I wrote you earlier, I meant "poppies", not "poppied"! :D

The red bellied are so pretty, I got to see my first one in person a couple of months ago. All the african birds look so intense to me and Plato looks like such a healthy boy. They are both so pretty Shirley and I'm glad they are getting along.:D

I'm so glad you like it! (I'm thinking you are the only one who likes it! LOL! :rotflmao: )
Well, we went through a LOT of names, and then THERE WAS THAT COLORFUL CHEST and it reminded me of the kids and their Play-Doh! AND it sounds like Plato to the unsuspecting visitor.

I apologize for not replying to your email of ages ago... I never even got him posted here til we'd had him two full weeks!!! :o

JEAN ~~ :thanx: :thanx: Now you see why I just HAD to go to Stan's yard!! He has this gorgeous English garden-style yard for taking family and senior portraits. And all the houses around him are hum-drum well-groomed homes and yards...
He is giving me a bunch of POPPIES and SEEDS!!!!!!!!! :emot-danc :emot-danc
We've traded iris bulbs in the past, and other perennials! He's my photographer friend. I shoot video at some of the weddings he shoots. He's been a photographer for 25+ yrs and also teaches some night classes at the univeristy in Indpls. He and his wife are awesome people to work with and I am so fortunate to have known them all my video career, plus they live just 10 min up the road. He's very digital-shy, and so I've done their photoshop work and helped them with the digital camera end of things. His film work is awesome.

PS, I'm adding them to my stock photography collection... thus the effort and copyrights... and all the various poses. I shot about 70 poses of the Poicephalus in one day and they were A+++ models! I was knocked out!!!
I shot Tucker over 3 days, and he was better and better, and by the 3rd day, it was like, Oh Yeah! I know this job! and he went right into, never flew off one single time!!!!!!!!!!! I swear, they LOVE doing the camera work!! :emot-danc:emot-danc

Shirley, I'll bet, you could get some great shots of him with your photo skills and equipment. :highfive: He seems to love the camera...

It's funny because the second time I came back here to read I noticed all the beautiful flowers in the background. I was so into looking at Michelle and Play-doh the first time that I didn't even notice.:rotflmao: The background is beautiful also. ;)

I swear, they LOVE doing the camera work!! Shirley, I've noticed Pepper is quite the cam hog too. I wonder if it has to do wth the flash or the shiny box we hold. Pepper has gone as far as trying to get the cam away from me. Beauty pics btw..

Thank you, Kristie! I just found this post while perusing through the archives!
Play-Doh and Michelle are a riot to watch... he loves her, she is dismissive toward him! But then, he's 2-1/2, and she is only a year old!
