Happy Saturday, all. :wavey: Greg let me sleep in and he's already gone to play tennis. I let Bailey sleep in as well, he had a late night last night. We let him play extra long climbing all over, up, and around the top of his cage. (We took the top off). He really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun. :D
Beautiful day here in sunny Florida, just the teeniest of breezes, and already in the 80's. Kind of humid too.
Sue, I can't wait to see pictures of your new bathroom. :emot-danc
I bought a new pair of gardening gloves yesterday, so I'm off to pull weeds.
Enjoy the extra long weekend, and yes, please do remember the reason for the holiday. :agree:

Good morning! Sunny and beautiful here today, just like yesterday! Sue, can't wait to see your bathroom, plus would love to be with you tomorrow at the falconry show! That was one of the highlights of our adventures in Austria...
Yesterday Trevor invited me to go with him to The Indiana Gun Club to see him pick out a Remington 1100 semi-automatic shotgun for trap and skeet shooting. They sell a wide variety of new and used guns there, and he found one used that suited his needs for $350, took it out and shot two rounds, then bought it, even though it didn't hit the clay pigeons well for me at all! Only for him! ...
So, today after he gets off work, he and a friend and maybe Steve will go back and shoot some more. Me too if I get enough work done! It's only 20 minutes from here to the shooting range. It's too close to a housing addition to allow rifle target shooing, though, so he can't bring his rifle.
Troy came back from IU last night and Skyler was happy to see him.
School's out for Summer!!

IT was blowing a gale here too!
last night I was so hot I opened the window but the noise of the wind kept me awake so Ihad to shut it in the end. Has been really strong winds all day, but calmed now.
Think it's supposed to be less windy tomrorow.
FUnny, wasn't it really windy last bank holiday at the beginnning of May? and it was supposed to be reallly hot then too!
I went to Matalan today, and usually I avoid 'cheap' shops and go for the branded stuff, but I was after some t shirts and I dont see the point paying a fortune for tshirts anyway, ended up spending £40 in there on bits and pieces! I mean a pair of shorts for £5 - who can refuse that!! trouble is you think it's cheap so you grab loads and spend more than you would in M&S!
Just been watching the Football match England V USA!!!!
Hi :wavey: I hope you all are having a nice Memorial Day weekend! We will be having a memorial day parade on Monday.
It has been partly sunny with a few thunder boomer's and a sprinkle of rain turning to filtered sunshine with a currently 68 degrees.
Sue, try not to blow away. What holiday is yours in the UK Monday? I can't wait to see pics of your new bathroom. :emot-danc Have a food time at the falconry display tomorrow.
Shirley, Tell Steve to enjoy himself while school is out. :highfive: Your target morning sounds like it was fun. :highfive: Awww, Tyler loves his buddy Troy.
Bill, have a safe drive home..:tighthug:
Jeff, I'll bet you are enjoying the Internet access at work. You have a nice holiday weekend too.
Vicki, have fun enjoying the sunshine while working in the garden. Good to hear Baily liked his cage being a convertible. What did he do when you took the top off his cage? :scratchch
Kristi, don't blow away with that wind. I can't blame you for being excited when you found such a bargain on shorts. That is the time to stock up. :agree:
I hope everyone has a nice Memorial Day weekend! http://photobucket.com/albums/v387/jeanaskins/Emoticons/th_emot-us-flag.gif
Off to do some shopping http://photobucket.com/albums/v387/jeanaskins/Emoticons/th_emot-shopping.gifat our new Super Super Wal Mart !
I made it home safe and sound! It was a long trip due to the holiday traffic. I am prepared to go to bed soon but I think I might read for a little bit. The temperatures in California were in the high 90's on Thursday and Friday but did not get as hot today. Here it is in the upper 60's! Love Idaho weather!

G'night Bill!
Glad to hear you are home safe and sound!
I'm about to go to bed too, with a bowl of cereal and something short to read... Steve is already asleep.
Have a good relaxing Sunday!
~ Shirley :wavey:
Bill, :thanx: for letting us know you made it home safe and sound. Your weather and ours both ended up in the high 60's. It felt comfortable with the windows open. I know what you mean about those 90 degree temps.
It is 48 at 11:00 PM.
I do not enjoy being out in them unless I'm in a refreshing pool. :sunshines
Hope you can catch a good nights sleep tonight. :cloud9:
Shirley, you have a good nights sleep too. :cloud9:

Jean, Bailey wasn't too sure at first about the top of his cage being off, but he figured it out soon enough. Now, he loves it. He hangs out at the top and he feels like he's sitting on top of the world. He enjoys the little "freedom" he thinks he has.
