actually I wanted to dress her as a pirate and find a small plastic parrot for her shoulder, but couldn't come up with it in time.. next year.
the costume was for Easter originally, and filled the bill when I couldn't come up with a pirate suit her size... how do you think they take to a patch over their eye?
