This is all quite new to me, yes the bird thing, so I thought that joining Birds of a Feather I may be able to learn some things about the birds I keep and in my small way maybe even help others with the little knowledge that I have or might aquire along the way.
I live in Queensland Australia and currently have princess parrots, red rumps, black mask lovebirds & quails. No, not all in one cage .
Ok well thats about it for me, although I hope to learn as much as I can.:foot-tap:

Hello! I'm a newbie so I'm not much help, but we've got a lot of birdbrains here that can help out, and we can always use another person to share stories with.
Welcome.

Hello Babyika!
Welcome to the board!

I LOVE the princess parrots and red-rumps... all the Australian Grass 'Keets!
Our menagerie includes several Bourke's 'keets - normals and opalines (rosy) and we just love these happy little guys! They free-fly around our bedroom each evening, the land on us for some special time, then back to their cages.
Looking forward to getting to know you and seeing pics of your lovely flock!

Welcome to the B of F, Babyika. I'm a newbie bird owner too.. I have a Sun Conure parrot named Bailey. He is teaching me a lot about owning a bird. I found this site to be very helpful, everyone here is quite knowledgable about birds.

Hello Jean, yes apparently I need alot of help uploading an image because it did not work. I wonder if it is because of the size of the pic ?? straight from the digital camera so they are usually quite large.. please help. I am definately not computer illiterate and know how to upload normally.. lol apparently just not here .. but this site is all new to me.
Regards
Jackie
Hi Jackie, If you upload the pic's to Photobucket (it's free), you can resize them there then it's easy to copy and paste to BoF. If you want to email me the pics i'll put them up for you.:agree:

Welcome :stars: Jackie, and glad to have you join us. There is a thread here on size limits to post and how to, but I'm not sure where it is. Jean, I'm impressed by, and wonder how you get those wonderful graphics in your posts.

Neil, right click any graphic, then left click on properties, then you can see where the graphic is kept. Jean or anyone just goes to where ever the graphic is kept, and in her case, it's her photobucket album, and in my case, it's my website, and then we link it to our post.
Such as this: I found the image, copy the image location (the URL) then I click the mountains with yellow sky button above, then I paste the URL into the text field, http://shirleymorgan.com/misc/BF/em/Welcomewith2doves.gif and Voila! There's the image I grabbed for you to view.
Is that what you mean?
Now, go http://shirleymorgan.com/misc/BF/em/TakePictures.gif
I have uploading images instructions as a sticky notice in Community Aviary I think.
