I have been checking the weather for my trip

It is supposed to be hot in Fresno with temps in the mid to upper 90's! YIKES! Our temps here are supposed to get into the 80's later this week. I prefer 60's and 70's! Oh well! I am just anxious to get going. I have to get my bags packed and I need to have my car all gassed up and ready to go on Wednesday. My parents will be caring for the Scoot girl in my stead.

I lived in Fresno for four long years and I remember the dry, hot heat there! Glad it is only for one full day! LOL!

You will feel very relaxed once this is all over and you have that deploma in hand.:school: I was thinking your graduation was June 3rd. Do I have the wrong date in mind?

You have the date for my graduation correct but I have to go down to defend my dissertation this Friday and spend some unnecessary money (ugh!) on that trip! Thank goodness for some benefactors who have provided me extra sums of money for graduation. (Odd thing is the money has come from friends rather than family members...which I find different...am I just being materialistic?)

I guess, I missed that somewhere or did not read it correctly. Sorry, to hear you are having to make this extra trip. That's very thoughtful of your friends. I hope more will drift your way on graduation. Have a safe and trip. Since it is going to be hotter weather, if you like to swim it might be the time to take a relaxing swim in the pool.

Thanks everyone! Sorry for any confusion regarding the dates. This Friday is defend the dissertation day while June 3rd is graduation day! YEAH! I am just carrying on about it.
