Running a bit late today, I only have 3 days left to work at this job:emot-danc :emot-danc after today. I'm winding down nicely.
We've booked a break in the Norfolk Broads (Lakes) a lovely riverside cottage, can't wait:beerchug:

Just got back from a Wal-Mart run for food, and veggies ,fruit, 'n sprouts for the birds of course:drool: Coral loves when i come in the bird room, and begs to be brought out,and carries on until i do,,,
gave everyone thier morning treats, played with the whole bunch,,even tho most of them were more interseted in the treats they saw in the bowl,,,LOL
My back i sorta back to the way it was, thought i was making a turn around last nite, hope this is just a small set back.Need to do some stuff around here, otherwise ,i'll get all cranky from sitting around,,,
Blyth will be home this afternoon, wondering how i will spring Coral on here. (prob do the close your eyes thing) but when she hears the bird room door open, she'll prob fugure what's in store,,,
While at Wal-Mart,I treated myself to a "American Chopper" 1st season DVD collection(guy thing LOL)even tho i saw the 1st year when it came out, still love to watch it when the mood hits,(next, season 2,,,:agree: )Also got a new Doobie Brothers Live -in concert DVD, so i might just veg with a bird on my hand/arm/lap in my chair for a while today,,,sounds like a good thing to do,,,,(I AM still on vacation , don't you know! :highfive: :beerchug: :woot: :emot-danc

Jeff, being on vacation means you do get to relax and enjoy yourself. :clap: If you do too much, you'll wonder where all your vacation time went and you'll be all stressed out.

Shirley, I'm so sorry to hear about Leah and her beloved Mickey. :( I hope she's able to get some kind of closure from the vet to understand what happened.

Good day all. We had a very busy weekend, and went to our new WalMart that just opened up about 5min away!! whooo hooooo! This is supposed to be the largest walmart ever, w/a nice change up from the others. I live at Walmart, so this is just great for us, lol :D Nice to get the benefits of living in Walmart country!!


Got to go to FIL house Sunday for a ride in the boat. Nice to see weather is getting there to be able to enjoy getting out!!

I'm also getting this fun sickness that has gone widespread everywhere. It's pretty yuck, and I'm not ready to be sick, lol, stomping my feet :p The last time I was pretty sick was when we were going to CO. It was pretty bad stuff, I hope this is nothing like that, I felt like I was gonna die one day when I had that junk.

We also have my BIL and family coming from Fl. where we used to live. They will be here Friday, so off to clean my house, expecially the Monday cleaning!!

Tina is supposed to have a softball game tonight, but we got really slammed w/major storms this am, so don't know if it'll happen or not. They won their last game btw, that makes 2-0 for now, hehehhe.

I sang Happy Birthday to Akeela this am, and when hubby called on his break, I demanded he tell her happy bday on the speaker phone so she could hear, lol. Don't really have any plans, lol, but got some goodies coming in the mail for her and the others. I can't believe she's 3 already, lol.

Taking it ez today, if you call shopping this Am, playing/feeding with the birds/dogs/fish,and bathing two doxies taking it ez,,for me it is ! LOL

Blyth came home today, met Coral(she's not a 100% on the name yet, might be changed/altered,dunno,,,she said "Coral is a girls name",,,and mentioned possibly "Cory",a sorta version of my original name for him:doh: :funny: )She came home , showered, and is taking a lil nap b4 she goes into work tonite, hope to take a pic of her holding "whats his name"LOL, when she gets up , and if so, will post it here later,,,

barb, i know what you mean about the super new sized Wal Mart's. Ours is also within 4 to 5 minutes away and will be opening on May 25th. It is HUGE! :heart:

Vicki, the good thing is once the house is clean and the laundry caught up it makes you feel do good "if, you are not to tired to enjoy it". LOL

Sue, it sounds like you are ready for that relaxing vacation. There is something soothing about going to the water, a lake , river ocean, or even a pool that is very relaxing. :)
