from my car as I was driving down the road. It did not turn out like I wanted it to so I used my Photoshop to alter it. I like it.

NOTE: There is one photo I took of Scooter in too forum.

Very pretty, you can tell you've had some rain to bring that green grass. :agree: :)
Is that near Twin Falls or Burley?

It is in between Twin and Burley. The grass is usually not this green in late May. The rivers are still raging here.

It sounds beautiful. Do you know the elevation there?

Bill

The elevation for Twin Falls is: 4150 ft above sea level. Sun Valley (about 75 miles north of us) is higher than Denver and also greener than usual.

Were 4,500 here, so pretty close to the same elevation. I'll bet it's pretty up at Sun Valley too.

Bill, my parents used to live in Nampa, ID. I visited them a couple of times. I like the view of the mountains. Don't get to see many mountains here in Tampa. :)

Jean...I would love to go there more often than I do. I have gone beyond Sun Valley and stayed in the trailer in the mountains, slept and ate and read tons of books! I would really like to go up there this summer!

Sadenna...if you ever get back this way let me know and I will drive over to meet you.

Vicki...I love the mountains too! My parents have a northern view from their room upstairs and it is gorgeous!

I have always wanted to go to Scotland as my father's family originated in Scotland. Both of my great grandparents (my paternal grandmother's parents) were from Scotland. I have only seen pictures of Scotland.

The camera could not zoom in like I would want...there are mountains to the north and south of Twin Falls. The mountains to the north are about 75 miles to the north (which are not visible in the picture). These northern mountains are much bigger than the mountains to the south of us. The southern mountains are about a 30 minute drive to the south. All of the mountains are beautiful after a snowfall. I have stayed in our trailer in both the south and north mountains. I enjoyed myself both stays.
