Don't think we're in for a great weekend....

Didnt sleep well last night, kept waking up that's so annoying! I felt so awful yesterday I just wanted to go to bed, and when I got there, i was too hot and couldn't get comfortable, typical :rolleyes:
Just hoping for a weekend of feeling a bit better really! its now 4 weeks til the endoscopy and hopefully they'll find out whats wrong and sort it!!!

Kristi, I am so sorry you are having to put up with pain day and night. :tighthug: I am surprised they can not get you in for your endoscopy sooner then 4 more weeks. It seems like you have waited for ever. Is there a chance you can be put on standby for a cancellation? :scratchch

well, it has been going on since December actually so another 4 weeks isn't that long i suppose! I just have to wait my turn like everyone else unfortunately. some people have to wait YEARS for things like hip replacement ops, so I'm luck I suppose.
I just feel constantly nauseaus and often when I've eaten or in the morning really bad and stomach feels yuck all day everyday, I've no appetite and never know when i will feel really ill, I often feel really lightheaded and dizzy or faint with it. I tell you it's the most vile feeling - I'd rather be in pain (within reason..)

I am so sorry to hear that you have been having that severe attacks. :tighthug:
It's possible you may have more then one thing on at the same time with so many ill symptoms. :confused: The hardest part is the waiting when you are suffering. It has to be hard to keep up with working feeling so rotten all the time. :( I hope they would not deny you medical emergency help if you went into a more serious attack.

Some people having to wait years for a hip replacement is a terrible way to go. :( That is sad. The ones that qualify for state medical aid here do not have to wait like that for medical help.

Yes Kristie...Feel better soon girl , hope the weekend brings you more time to catch up on some sleep ..are you taking anything for your tummy (Mylanta or something) I use to think I was having a heart attack when I had a Gall attack ..the last one the pain just wouldn`t stop even with morphine so I was wacked into hospital and the gall was removed the same day (I was up all night and sitting on the doctors door step at 8am thinking I was having a heart attack, had a ecg but the ticker was fine ) no probs now the gall is gone ..
Try not to stress won`t you as that makes it worse...

Well guys I will leave you and get to bed I am so tired and have Birdie cooking to do tomorrow ..that will be fun for the boys after their horrible day today...

I don't have any pain or anything else, just that awful nauseous feeling. Think the lightheadedness is because I've lost weight so quick, possibly lack of food, and also the stress of it. Don't think I can go to hosptial saying I feel sick really.... or I would!!!
seems to be when I eat, and it doesn't seem to matter what either!!

Today is pay day! HEY! I don't have a client per se but I do have things I have to get taken care of. Tomorrow and Sunday I will put together my presentation for my final defense. The day is supposed to be beautiful with temps reaching the mid 70's and nearly 80 by Monday! We have had the wettest May in over 25 years. Many of the rivers are cresting and there are a number of mountain towns that have bridges washed out. The farmers who were complaining in early April about not enough moisture, are now complaining because they are not able to get into their fields. I hope they can get back in them after this weekend!

Just got back from a run for household stuff, not that much food, as i stopped for b-fast b4 i went LOL Hard to look at food , when you are already stuffed! haha
Damp,cold and rainy here, word is should be clearing up a bit later, no problem , not ready to resume my outside chores right now, LOL
have a doc appointment early afternoon, after that , the rest of the day is mine.
My back has been bothering my since i got back from vacation, so i'm not feeling like hitting it that hard quite yet.
Just got news that i'll be getting my largest profit sharing quarterly check ever in a few days, started checking into a new Select Comfort bed system,seems like everyone i talked to on vacation, even my traveling buddy and his wife have one in the RV,and at home,,nothing but good things to say about them, so we figured this would be the best time to get one, with this free " money coming,,For those of you not familiar with these beds, it's a air chamber type bed system, each half is adjustable to individual needs. Think besides my buddy, i talked to prob 6 people just in mentioning my back and all, and the conversation turned into the Select Comfort beds they had..while just on vacation,,,i take that as a sign LOL.
Well back to putting away my goodies i just got, and need to give the birds some of the fresh veggies i just got, (everything eats better than i do around here LOL)

Majj, I had a gallbladder attack too, kinda like yours. Out it came, snip, snip. With only two small scars. I remember when my mom had her gallbladder out they had to make a huge incision. Medical advancements are amazing. :thumbup:

Jeff, sorry about the bad back and pain, I know where you're coming from. I have issues with my back as well. Mine are congenital, though. I don't have any experience w/the Select Comfort bed, but have heard good things about them. I hope it helps you.:highfive:

Jeff, I am sorry about your back, That new bed should help. We have friends that have Select Comfort beds. They are wonderful. Since we purchased our $ cushy 15"dbl pillow top foundation a few years ago, I am sure we will be using it for several more years. If or when it becomes uncomfortable I hope to be able to replace it with one.

Majj and Vicki, I hear you about the Gall Bladder attacks, they are the worst when they become severe. Been there done that.

Jeff -- I've hear the Select Comfort can be even better than the Tempurpedic Mattresses! (Less hot) I have a Tempurpedic pillow and LOVE it. Can't afford the mattress.

Started going to a chiropractor in Feb... and I no longer have the joint/neck/back/head pains I used to have... and the X-rays are there to prove it! Been worth every cent spent! I've been to chiropractors before, but this one is different... the way they do things here.... it's quick and then you do a bunch of physical therapy for 10-15 minutes by yourself and then you're done. 3 days/week for 90 days... re-Xray... then re-assess. Now I'm on 2 days/wk. Huge improvement... feel like I did when I was in my mid-30's! no joking! Being 2 minutes from home makes it nice, too. They knock a huge chunk off the cost after insurance, too. :agree:

Kristie -- I wish there were some sort of relief for you! :help: :confused: Meanwhile... lots of :grouphug2 !!

I'm off for coffee now (1st cup o the day!) and then to work again!
