Hope everyone is well. The sun is shining though tis rather chilly.
I have a little heater blowing away under my desk cos it's so cold in the office!

Had college last night, and we're getting so fed up with it because it seems to be a waste of time and we don't feel we're learning what we need to learn! trouble is complaining just makes you unpopular and means you get even less help from the tutor.
yesteray she went through exam questions on topics we haven't even covered yet so how could we answer??:shrug: seems pointless. think I need to find out what I need to find out, and go and learn myself:foot-tap:

I'm trying a wheat-free diet for a few days to see if it helps me feel better - saw the doc monday and he told me not to come back til after my endoscopy! well I suppose I have seen every doctor in the practice now:rolleyes:

Good Morning! I am up late as usual, and thought I would say an early hi :wavey: to everyone. We still have a light sprinkle and it's a little windy making it very cold. Our temp has dropped to 32 with a wind chill of 28, Burrr !

Hey, if you're hunting food allergies, get a RAST test done. It's a bit $$ intensive, but I found out what I was allergic to, and I eliminated those things. *poof* Much better now!

GoodMorning all , Its of course Wednesday evening for me and I have just watched a fav. t.v show "Medium" does anyone else watch it ..very interesting and spooky to think its about a true person , I wonder how she copes with such a gift ..
Got the groceries done today and have a big clean to do tomorrow of course it will take twice as long as it should with the help of the boys and my stopping to have cuddles and make sure they are behaving etc ..
Moved the bird room around this afternoon (again) they like it the way I have it now I am sure ..I just feel it when they are happy about something I`ve done and they are so cute snuggled together in their box on their lambs wool matt all cosy in the cold ..I just put my hand in and gave them a pat before turning everything off they make a happy little noise each but stay snuggled ...too cute ..
I can`t believe how fast the weeks are flying ...
Loving my new book and almost finished the first one , the others are sitting (2, & 3 anyway ) waiting , I`ll have to order 4 & 5 from the book shop ..

BN - Well I asked my doc about getting allergy test, but he didn't seem bothered. think there is a HUGE waiting list here for the allergy clinic too. Course all your health care over there is private isn't it.
private health care is optional here, and I don't have it :( and I can't take out medical insurance because I'm ill!
so I hve to just go on the good old NHS waiting list, which seems to be years long.
someone did say that the endoscopy would show up wheat allergy though, but it could be dairy prods or anything!
Or as my doc thinks, not an allergy at all. Doc thinks it's something-itis (something un pronouncable!!) - inflammation of duodenal tube and stomach.

Kristie, Frustration over not getting the proper education is rough, I know. You sound like you have a strong desire to learn and just need proper guiding.

BN, I've had an extensive allergy test done and found out I was allergic to dust, animal danders, and mold. Thank goodness no food allergies.

Majj, you really sound like you're enjoying your book. I love it when I find an author I can really get into and there is a series that I can delve into.

and yes, it's allergy season also,,,felt it starting up while in Florida,and continued when i got home,,my sign is the three inna row sneezes i get,,
gotta go med up myself ,and head outside,,(coffee first LOL)

Starting out to be a beautiful day, as it's 72 now. I really like that it's finially warming up, I was just about to move back to Fl, heheheh

Not much going on today. I woke up feeling rather weird. Almost like balance issues or motion sickness. Just gonna take it easy today and do the norm stuff around the house.

Bill, hope you can make it to see S.Wars, you'll have to give us a review ;) I'm sure we'll make it there b4 it's out of the theaters. Keep us updated on your final arguements so we can beem good vibes to ya ;)

Bill: Troy has tickets for Star Wars at midnight tonight. They are going to take turns in line beginning 4 hrs in advance. The line already started LAST night though... no way. I'd rather be comfortable and wait a few weeks.

Sue and I had a marvelous visit on the phone today!!! 2 cents/minute! can't beat that!! :woot: I was late for my eye appt by 10 min, but they didn't mind a bit when I told them, "I had a call to England..." "OH!" they said. ;)

Kristi, I am sorry to hear about your health insurance status there. That's a shame for someone as young as you are. :( You seem to have a struggle every direction you turn between your health care and education. :tighthug: I hope things become easier for you.

Our health care is not free by any means here in the US unless you are living in actual poverty. It is fast becoming an issue that is financially breaking the bank on many of our citizens. There are many that go without that are in the middle bracket or their employer drops coverage. I have a friend in Missouri that was recently diagnosed with MS. Her husbands employer just switched insurance company's leaving them to pay 40% of the first 10,000 of their medical cost per year before their insurance company picks up 80% of the cost. There are millions of Americans that are without medical and prescription coverage because it has become so expensive. I wish there were a magic health care solution to help all.

Barb, your weather sounds perfect. Hopefully next month we'll get there. I'm ready for a vacation to warm up. If this keeps up I'm going to be asking if you are ready for company? LOL

The doctor didn't think it was allergies for me, either. But we eliminated everything else from the sublime to the ridiculous and was left with the ol' Ockham's Razor problem.

Health care here is expensive but private, so not usually much of a waiting list.

I'm sorry to hear you're not a well clown. I know that game. :(
