Well tonight i started cleaning my room and then i thought about taking Mumble out for a minute and he was trying to use his wings. and just this morning he was falling a bit because even though i was holding him he wanted to get to my shoulder really bad. I am trying to spend a time during the morning just holding him or talking to him or both or other things like watching movies with him and i want to teach him how to talk and maybe sing or whistle but i am not sure how to exactly do that. But he was having fun.

We find that our birds learn to say what they want to say... not necessarily what we teach them. I routinely said a few things to Tucker at certain times of the day, and then he started saying them every morning:
Hi Tucker
Good Boy
Good Boy Tucker
Step up
Pretty Bird
Pretty Bird Tucker
Gimme Kiss
Gimme Kiss Tucker

That's pretty much what he says...

Tucker started talking when he was about 12 or 14 wks old. We got him when he was 3-1/2 weeks old. He talked MOST when he lived in our bedroom.
