Hello there to the forum. My name is Andy and I have an African Grey called Chips and a pair of Senegals called Bubble and Squeak. Chips is about 5 years old now and has decided he hates me. But I don't care about that and lavish him with affection and good food and new toys and he hates that even more!! He is developing a pretty impressive growl that rattles the windows and makes my bladder go weak. He truly is descended from creatures from before the dawn of time.

Bubble and Squeak still love me. I let them out for a fly around every morning and after they have spent ten minutes bickering and dropping poo all over the curtains they come down for some fresh corn and grapes and a cuddle.

I will put some pix up as soon as I get some good ones.

xxA

Hi Andy! I'm so happy you found us!!

We have a Senagal, as well, named Play-Doh!

Holly, above, loves me but doesn't allow others to touch her, and Sammy, our male CAG, was raised from a baby by me, but loves my husband! He's a year, and Holly is 4.

 WELCOME ABOARD!!!

Coo, what a lot of nice messages. I live in a village called Eynsham, just outside Oxford (UK). I work for the University which must sound terribly grand but really it's just a job. I can see the dreaming spires of Christ Church outside my window. I'll take lots of pix and post them so you can all see.

I've heard of your village.
Do they still have loads of live bands on in Oxford and everyone ride about on bikes??

Hello Sue,

To be sure there are many live band events around Oxford. My own band, the Yukons, features regularly on bill boards (and in band venues.) We specialise in 1930s novelty songs for which there seems to be a large appetite hereabouts. Also, in answer to your bike question, the place is full of them. In my experience, Oxford is probably the most bike-friendly city in UK. Sadly, some of my cycling colleagues take this as an excuse to ignore allroad traffic conventions. I am no angel myself when it comes to cycling (Andy-2 bikes) but, lor oh lor, I've seen some appalling behaviour that makes me shudder to think of the consequences.

On the up-side, I haven't been involved in a single murder-mystery, so that's a relief.

1930's novelty songs?? may I be so bold as to ask what the 'ell are they! :rotflmao:
I not heard of Eynsham either but I guess if it's a small town no reason why we should if we don't live that way. I'm in Ryde on the Isle of Wight, lots of lovely countryside and beaches :)

I tried to take some photo's of Eynsham from the bus this morning but the weather was horrible and the bus kept lurching. I'll have another go next week.
1930's novelty songs: "The Sun Has Got His Hat On" - "You can't keep a horse in a lighthouse" And many others
