Introducing Jean~

[Jean]

Hi, I am Jean. Some of you know me,those that don't I will introduce myself. I have been married to a wonderful man for many years. We have grown children and grandchildren. I am a retired hospitality GM and DM. I have always been active in community projects and have many hobbies.

We adopted our sweet umbrella cockatoo Elvie when he was a baby, that was almost 11 years ago. He does most everything with us and is a very important member of our family. Prior to Elvie, we had an adorable nanday conure, she was the sweetest little bird. She left us in 1994 due to cancer in her escphagus. We still miss her terribly. She flourished her love deep within our hearts, she is the reason my husband and I share such a love and compassion for birds. We have offered a temporary loving home to several other birds through the years.

I look forward to making new friends and visiting with old ones as we gather together to share our love for birds.
