Good Monday Morning!

Hi Everyone,

It's a wet and miserable Monday here, rained like crazy:rain: :rain: :rain: after such a gorgeous day yesterday.

The bathrooms still not finished, i've sort of lost interest now and got used to living in a building site:( We wanted to have a mass clear up at the weekend but there was no point. Fingers crossed for next weekend:foot-tap: :shrug:

My boss still hasn't told my colleagues i'm leaving, he says he doesn't want them to panic. It's not really fair as if they knew, I could let them do the stuff I do that they are going to have to do when i'm gone, at least i'm still here to sort out any problems. Once I leave they're on their own, stupid really, he's got to tell them sometime:scratchch

Dave played a gig on Saturday, it was a really good night as the new singer brought his own audience and some of Dave's work colleagues came, also his brother and his wife came so we had a really good time.:emot-danc

Gooday/Afternoon/Night to everyone :wavey: wherever you may be its now 10.20pm Monday night and its been raining wet and cold all day I am ready for bed tried to post a few replys to messages but the computer keeps cutting me off :shrug2: I thing the line is water logged might just go to bed and come back tomorrow before I iron ...

Sue, I forgot all about Dave's Gig!! I thought of it first thing Sat. morning, then forgot! I'm sorry! I would have been thinking of you and him and his band and the music, otherwise... Wish I could have been there to enjoy it with you all!

Friday night Troy and I went to an Asian Grill restaurant here in Noblesville on the square that I'd never been to... hard to get Steve to try "weird new food" sometimes. It was 9:00 and an impulsive stop after a trip to the local bookstore... Well... it's a beautiful small restaurant with original old hardwood floors, and the best Asian food I've ever tasted except once at a Vietnamese wedding I filmed a few yrs ago... the chefs are Cambodian, Veitnamese, and Thai! We had some kids of appetizer pocket filled with potatoes and veggies w/mushroom soup on the side... that was out of this world! Then battered and lightly fried scallops with veggies. We brought Steve a dessert called a Chocolate Eruption.

I have more news to share later... but it's too early and I'll be back... I was up way too late last night!

I had the same starter in a Thai restaurant in Fuerteventura at new year, you got loads for a starter.:funny:

Good Morning! I slept well as I was tired from a busy weekend! I left the window open and I think the cool air helped me sleep better. It has been raining since yesterday evening. Get your canoes ready! In fact, we are in a flash flood watch until this evening. The rivers are raging with all of the rain we have had in the last month. Thank goodness we have the Snake River Canyon, which is a very deep canyon.

I have a busy day ahead of me but I will be able to be done by 6PM, which is nice. I am enjoying how I have changed my room around. Now I just need to get organized within my room and I will be set.

Sue, sounds like all this commotion around the house will make you so appreciate that bathroom muuuuuuch more ;) :p Just dream of that 1st heavenly bath in your new room!! Anyways, sounds like you got to squeeze in some fun and watch Dave's gig :cool:

Shirley, sounds yummy to try something different....as long as it's not some weird meat or something, lol.

Bill, glad to see you nice and rested :) Did someone mention canoes?? Oh hubby would be so envious to get that much rain to head to the river to ride the higher level!! He was hoping for some so he could go sat, but never happened :shrug:

Sue, imagine how nice your new bathroom will be. Did you get all your accessories yet? What color's for your decor have you chosen? If you are like me I have at least two "colors" Brit spelling "colour" for every season.

Shirley, It's nice you and Troy were able to try a new dinner. Again, Steve sounds like Al about trying the new food. LOL

Barb, your day sounds like mine, the normal house cleaning. Did you get to go horse back riding over the weekend?
