These are some pictures from the annual picnic my bird club has each year (all these birds are disease tested, most by the same vet).
Here is me, Jack, Di and Angel, who is the cockatoo that taught me they're not all scary biters:

Here's a closeup of Angel's beak, so you can see why I wasn't scared of her (besides the fact that she's one of the sweetest birds I've ever met):

Hubby petting Angel:

This is me and Sisko (who has a very rough history--he lived in a shed, by himself for a long, long time with nothing to do but mutilate himself; he's now so sweet that despite being macaw-shy, I didn't resist for a second in offering him a place to hang out while his buddy, Angel, was running the cockatoo race; his tail is so ratty because he loves running around on the ground and his nest is behind his cage, so it gets messed up by the bars, too):

This is Sisko, flapping as he's returning to his stand (the folicle damage is so bad, that chest promises to always look like that):

This is Angel and Sisko (and I can't remember the triton's name) who all own the same person (Angel is crying like a baby in this picture and her foot is up in the hopes that ANYone will lift her into their arms--she has been on their about 10 seconds, LOL):

Here is me and Angel (and Di) again:

Here's Jack:

Here's Di (she was so happy to see the car, as she always is--she loves riding in it, that she hopped onto the window as soon as she was close enough and didn't move as I--carefully--opened the door and took pictures):
