Hello
My name is the above, and I am delighted to be a part of the Birds of a feather Forums. The saying truly goes Birds of a Feather flock together. I have a love for birds, especially Zebra Finches, although I have a couple of Budgerigars, which I am thinking of parting with just to have more time, and room, to enjoy the birds I love so well.

What more can I say :thanx: for this wonderful site I can be able to learn, more about the care of my birds. There are lots to go throw on your site, but as times goes by I will familiarise myself a bit more to all this site has to offer.

Thanks again

Abraham

Welcome to our Nest!!

What is the origin of the name "Silcott"? Is it English?

Check this site out for Zebra finches:

I also have lots of finches,... but no Zebras anymore.

Hi Abraham,:wavey: WELCOME!!

We nearly have the same surname, mine's Silcock.
Shirley, it originates from Lancashire, north west I believe, not sure about Silcott though.
