I just wan't to say that this morning while I had my Bourkes cage open Luv decided to take a little trip around the living room and then he landed in the dogs toys,what I found so great,and wanted to share, was that I just reached down picked him up and kissed his head and put him back,he was so sweet no fuss no bite just waited till he got into his cage and wen't and ate:drool2: I just can't say enough about Bourkes.If I'm lucky enough to have a mated pair il'l be breeding them in the near future:heart: :heart: They don't fly out because of the dogs and I don't wan't to put them in a room by them selves so I can close the door,but there in a flight cage and they do fly in there. LOVE THEM:wub:

i wish you all the luck with your bourke's. i have become a BIG fan of the bourke's parakeets. i used to think of them as flighty non social birds. but i have been blessed many times. first to have met shirley and her family and get an abundant amount of knowledge from her about bourke's, and i was able to get a male and female rosy that actually produced 5 beautiful and wonderful chicks for me. and also i have learned sooo very much from the people on this forum:thanx: .

give us some more pictures of your rosys and keep us updated with the progress(keeping my fingers crossed for you)

Yeah, Bourkes are wonderful little guys, so friendly and sweet. Our two have fallen in love with Luke, and he can do just about anything with them. They will go in his room and follow him all over the place, he goes on the putor, they go too, he gets on his games consol, they go too. It really is sweet.
