Hi I would like to introduce my self to the forum.
My name is Sue and as my member name implies I am His lordships pesonal servant.
I have had Peter my Eclectus since december 06 he was a year old when I got him.
If I had put in a request for my ideal parrot I don't think I could have improved on Peter.
He is very loving, always wants to cuddle and preen me, and so far has never even tried to bite.
I have loads of pics, he loves posing.
I am by no means an expert and am learning every day, I think we are training each other.
Well enough of me, I am now going to catch up on posts and see what is going on in this forum :wavey:

Hello Sue

Welcome to BoF. Nice to meet you. Hope you enjoy your time here. We're a pretty laid back and easy going bunch.

Peter is a nice looking Eclectus. Nice big cage too. I see he has on a harness in a couple pictures. I take it he goes out side?

Welcome. Welcome. Welcome. Peter is a very pretty bird for such a young age. He is going to be gorgeous after a few molts. And look at his cage. You have done a wonderful job on his cage too.

Glad to have you.

Thanks for all your kind welcomes.
Peter does go outside, we have been 'practicing' for the last month and he loves it.
I live about 20 min from nottingham Town center.
At the moment I don't know what sub spiecies Peter is, as the males are hard to tell and the previous owner didn't care:(
