Hi Karen! :wavey:

I'd love to hear all about your birds... It's not that often I get to hear the stories of birds who've been with their people for that many years! And congratulations on taking in an "older" Moluccan! How lucky he is! Dr. Cook, who runs the forum Dr. C's Expertise, has a 14-yr-old M2 that she got when he was six.

Hi Karen, welcome to the board!

Nice to see another M2 here. We have Toto an M2 who has lived with us for 22 years, we were told he was 2 when we got him but we don't know. My guess is he was a wild caught as it was common then and we weren't given much info.
Look forward to seeing pic's of your flock.

Welcome to another Floridian. We live 60 miles east of Orlando, in Palm Bay. We, or I should say, I have a female Umbrella Cockatoo, that is Daddy's Precious Princess. My wife has two Meyers, one Jardine and one Senegal.

We love to hear stories about your birds and we love to see pictures.

Nice looking birds Karen.:agree: The pictures tell a thousand words.:) Nice tree stand Hawk is on. Is the cover or top on Luke's cage something you did? The reason I ask, a friend covers the top of her B&G's cage. He is very uncomfortable when it's not covered. Screams and acts all nervous. Corver the top and he is fine.

I just stated making the tree stand so there was nothing on when I took the picture, Also the picture of Luke was taken soon after I brought him home ther was a tray on the top with a play gym I ended up taking it off it blocked him being able to see out the window and seem to make his cage darker, Ive only had Luke for about 3 months he now comes out of his cage and struts around the top like he's the top dog;) and of course Hawk says he,s not. Ive gotten to the ponite where I can pet/love all over luke but he has yet to step up cant wait for that...

Look at that M2. Beautiful. Just gorgeous. So elegant.

All too's are beautiful but the Mollucan is gorgeous. But I wouldn't trade my Princess.
