I'm not sure if there are many breeders on here, but I'll go ahead and post this just for grins. :D
My husband and I have decided to stop breeding parrotlets so we can focus on bourkes and other grass parakeets. We've put all our parrotlet pairs up for sale and are now researching grass parakeets.
I am looking for personal stories about grass parakeets as pets. Mulgas, barrabands, kakarikis, splendids, elegants, princess of wales, rock pebblers, etc. I'd like to know cage sizes, personalities, ease of keeping tame, indoor vs. outdoor breeding, noise level, etc. Anything relevant to breeding them and/or keeping them as pets. Please let me know what species you are discussing at the beginning of your post. Thanks a million!
P.S. Please exclude bourkes, budgies, cockatiels, and members of the psittacula family. I've got tons of info on those already. ;)
