Barb, I use a cream colored palm oil I buy from Cedar Vale natural health products. I apply it rub it in good then rub excess off. He loves the taste of the white palm oil.

You can safely use mineral oil from the drug store. Apply and rub it in then and rub excess off.

Either one is good to condition their beak. I do it once or twice a week for beak
conditioning.
