Port Orchard is about an hour and half from me...this whole quaker situation has been going on quite a while, from what I heard lately cingular does not have a problem with the birds..its the city counsel that wants to remove them...they are not harming anything, or damaging any crops which is the reason they are illegal in some states they are considered pests...but never heard of a feral flock of quakers in the states taking out crop fields like they do in their native countries...I think if cingular which is the company whom the cell tower belongs to does not mind if the birds are there then why should the city counsel complain...heck we also have a wild flock of conures in a park thats actually not far from me and no complaints there

Just think if they decided to round up all the starlings, or sparrows, and send them back to where they came from...
