I was wanting to get some feedback from those with PVC type perches, how you like them. I am needing to do something with my playstand. I currently have a bottlebrush stand, which I really like, but Sydney has chewed alot of the ends off, making it hard to attach his toys. I also am wanting to add more bowls to it so we can have more places for foraging. I am still considering replacing the bottlebrush, but Sydney has a major obsessive-compulsive problem. Anything he can get in pieces that he can pick up, toys, wood, material, etc. he puts on his neck/back. While it is there he picks at his feathers until it falls off of of him. If I get the bottlebrush replacement there will be more bark for him to pick off and put on himself. I'm thinking for that reason the PVC might be a better choice.
It has been quite the challenge to find toys, etc. to keep him occupied that are attached to something so he can't put them on himself.

I think the pvc perches are easy to clean but can be slippery so you have to use vet wrap on them, as I said the bonus part of pvc perches is easy to clean and I noticed my birds don't eagerly chew as much on the pvc ones as they do their wood ones

Hi Janet-

I have different playstands (PVC, maple branch, wood railing, etc.) for our birds. My husband makes the wood ones and we bought the PVC ones. The PVC is very slippery, as Sadenna said, so ours is scored or you can use vetwrap, as Sadenna suggested.

I hope Sydney is well!
