Do Grey's blush?

I haven't really been able to find much on this except that certain macaws do. I swear that Einstein blushes sometimes, am I just imagining things? LOL

Leah, I believe some birds do blush. I have seen Elvie blush many times. I believe when you are very in tune to your bird you can pick up on a blushing expression. You will know it when you see it.:wub: I was discussing this last week with a friend that has a too and she asked me the same question. She believed she saw hers blush. :wub:

yes they can blush..I have seen gracie blush on occasions especially when she is frustrated with something or I have had to towel her to deal with a blood feather..not a happy camper when she does it either..

No your not loosing it. Like people, not all birds show that they blush, it is easy to tell on the ones that do.

Like Sadenna, I've noticed also when toweling. I may have noticed at other times, but never really thought about it, lol

Shirley, I love the picture of your Grey in the tree. I always tell Sammie, "Get your grey and red butt over here!" Your pic clearly shows it!

how you can tell is the skin around the nares and some that have more skin than around the eyes blushing shows up there to..they blush in the face and it may look a little pinkish when red and very excited or extremely mad in my case it's when my grey is frustrated or extremely ticked off..now macaws can really blush my military blushes about as red as the patch of red feathes on her forehead...
