New word!

Last few days Marlon has been making this new sound, he keeps goin "peekew peekew" It sounds hillarious! Well i just realised he is trying to say "peek a boo" I have just recently started playing this game with him. If i peek around the corner i say it and sometimes when were cuddling i put his blanky over him ( he doesnt like to be covered) but he seems to be ok with it when i do the peek a boo thing! Too funny, so much like a little kid :p

She used to say, Go Titans, but I've been trying to get her to say Steelers instead. So now, she says, Go, and waits for me to say Steelers. If I don't, she says, Come on! I have to ask...who is training whom?:rotflmao:

I am just amazed at how there little personalities are so child like. Marlon learning his first words is like a child trying to say his first words. It is just tooo darn cute. And yes Marlon is definately my kid lol! He has just opened another whole world to me that i was so unaware of. I never realised that birds are so cool, and how they really do understand what they are saying. I have learned so much since i have gotten marlon. Sometimes i wish that i would have had him much sooner, but timing is everything. I am at a point in my life to where i can spend and devote alot of my time with him that he needs.

Another thing that just floors me is the relationship that keeps building from day to day. With a dog or cat they love you from day one. With birds its soooo different, you have to work on the relationship and build it. Marlon is now showing me affection, and not just me showing him. I love it! and i cant get enough! He brings me such happiness and companionship that i never dreamed a bird could do! :wub:
