Heard about this this morning,,, and as one of the many that have visited Gatorland during vacations in Florida, it kinda hit home ,,,,,:(
A few losses, but it sounds like a few critteres that were in danger from the fire, went into the pond, and saved themselves:thumbup:

I like this quote,,,,
"This park is like an old alligator. Gators fight, they get scarred up, they get beat up, they tear each other up, but they're resilient," Williams said. "This park's been here for 57 years. We're not going anywhere"
Although the area behind the trademark main entrance gator head (you entered the place by walking thru the huge concrete gator head /jaws)were leveled, the gator head was still there, although charred and filled w/debris.
I'm sure Gatorland will be up and running, better than ever, and be able to allow people to see gators and other creatures,,and learn about them,,,soon.
